I was inspired by the organic bass playing I received from the talented musician Gonzo J. Francès from Barcelona. I asked him to lend me some bass phrases. His bass phrases are much more expressive than sequences with accents on finger movements. I couldn't compose this song without turning everything I've experienced upside down. I'm totally inspired!

I spaced out uploading all these since the soundcloud algo used to show me some love if I didn't upload too often. That didn't work out at all this time LOL

Really pleased with this project, I'd been sitting on these song ideas for a long time and I really like how they came together. These songs are clearly a step above anything I've made before. I still feel like something is missing from my sound though, maybe it's an arrangement thing, maybe it's a recording thing. In my opinion there's that special something missing that would have elevated these songs to sounding consummately professional. I'm excited to try to reach that level again in the next project.

If you're reading this then you've probably listened to my music for a long time. Thank you so much for listening, it's really a joy to be able to share the tunes I cherish with those who can appreciate them with me. While the audience is intimate, the support is always recognized and always appreciated.

Lanterns in the Rain fuses organic electronica with cinematic orchestration and mythic trance. Textured LoFi grooves, modular pads, and muted house restraint intertwine with sweeping orchestral crescendos, subtle brass, and emotive strings. Acoustic guitar arpeggios and ambient pads form the emotional core, while deep resonant bass echoes motifs across painterly spaces. Minimal percussion—soft kicks, brushed snares, and gated atmospheres—opens rhythmic breathing room, layered with ghostly FX and sidechained textures. Vocals remain restrained baritone: breathy, looped, fragmented, and whispered, dissolving into spectral delay and airy shimmer. Expansive orchestral layers broaden the sonic frame, adding dramatic scale and emotional clarity. Piano and violin motifs weave through the architecture, enriching the hybrid of ambient introspection, modular electronica, and orchestral storytelling.

Remix Arc:  
Modular reinterpretation welcomes ambient techno, ghostwave, and orchestral variants. Guitar arpeggios, piano lines, and vocal fragments provide remixers with a scaffold for emotional layering. Sidechained pads, gated atmospheres, and orchestral swells invite dynamic modulation and spatial reassembly. The result is a rich, remixable atmosphere engineered for cinematic sync, immersive sets, and modular remix layering.
