FR: Puisant ses inspirations dans les moments intimes du quotidien et ses longs voyages autour du monde, Arnaud Laflaquière s’entoure d’artistes confirmés pour nous délivrer un projet musical indie pop/rock atmosphérique, nostalgique et empreint d’une sensibilité à fleur de peau. 

Originaire de Bordeaux, son groupe « Elea Sola » remporte les sélections du printemps de Bourges en 98, lequel signera chez EMI et fera les premières parties de Louise Attaque, M, Divine Comedy, et quelques dates en tête d’affiche avant de se séparer.

Arnaud poursuivra ensuite sa route à Edinburgh où il montera son propre studio d’enregistrement et collaborera avec Sarah Campbell et d’autres artistes locaux. 

Après un hiatus d’une dizaine d’années, Arnaud a repris le chemin de la musique en 2018, accompagné entre autres d’Aline Le Gonidec (Enlia) au chant, Daniel Farrugia (Angus & Julia Stone, Luke Howard) à la batterie, Rob Calder (Brett Dennen, Kanye West) à la basse, Ben Edgar (Passenger, Gotye) à la guitare, et Jon Solo (Brett Dennen, Passenger) aux synthétiseurs et piano. 

Libéré des contraintes artistiques, Le Jardin s’intègre doucement mais sûrement au paysage de la musique francophone. Un second album, surprenant et parfois plus expérimental, verra le jour dans les mois à venir. 

 EN: Taking inspiration from personal experiences and long journeys around the world, Arnaud Laflaquière collaborates with a solid team of artists to offer us an atmospheric, nostalgic and intimate indie pop/rock music project. 

Originally from Bordeaux (France), his band « Elea Sola » won Printemps de Bourges festival springboard in 98 and signed to EMI’s label. A couple of years later, Elea Sola split. Arnaud flew to Edinburgh, where he built his own recording studio and collaborated with Sarah Campbell and other local artists. 

After a long musical break, in 2018, Arnaud started « Le Jardin » with the support of session musicians such as vocalist Aline Le Gonidec (Enlia), drummer Daniel Farrugia (Angus & Julia Stone, Luke Howard), bassist Rob Calder (Brett Dennen, Kanye West), guitarist Ben Edgar (Passenger, Gotye) and pianist Jon Solo (Brett Dennen, Passenger) to name a few.

Free from artistic restrictions, Le Jardin is slowly but surely gaining attention in the French musical scene and a second album, surprising and more experimental this time, will see the light of day by 2021.
