
Three One G is in a sense, a family owned business…and basically a family in itself. I started the label in hopes to better the quality and creativity of things  that I was part of, as well as the music culture that I am part of. Three One G quickly developed into a family of artists who were all intertwined, or on the same page as one another. For me, it is the truest definition of family; people who are of the same breed and people who are from the same way of life. In the beginning, I started off by releasing music by Swing Kids and Unbroken, both of which shared a member, and were part of a musical community that I was submerged in. It was something that I was really a part of and more so, something that was obtainable, tangible, and real. Over the years, Three One G has loosely been related to a band that I’m part of, and better known for, The Locust. The relevance that The Locust had to Three One G brought amazing artists into the picture, either through meeting them on tour, musical collaborations, or other various things that The Locust was doing. This really helped to diversify the label and the sounds that it encompasses up to this day. To me, having bands under the Three One G umbrella like Cattle Decapitation, Arab on Radar, Quintron, Zs, Black Dice, Orthrelm, and so on, all makes sense, regardless of how different any artist's approach to music or their sound may be. We could all conceivably tour together, even sometimes collaborate and share members. To me, this is interesting, bringing so many new avenues of creativity, which are things that the music industry in general has since forgotten. 
The family members who currently make the wheels spin for Three One G, aside from the actual bands and artists are; Sal Gallegos (who also played in Some Girls, which were comprised of members of other label mates such as The Plot to Blow Up the Eiffel Tower, and Unbroken), as well as myself. Over the years we have expanded, not only musically, but geographically as well. Even though Three One G is below the radar of the who’s who of labels, the bands manage to grow and reach out beyond the label’s grasp, giving a glimpse into the all too interesting underbelly of an unrefined culture. The bands manage to amaze, challenge, inspire, and essentially blow minds. The labor of love here shows sincerity, as well as integrity. The family here is solid, legitimate, and is here to stay.

Nati nel 1995, i Verdena sono una band che hanno fatto la storia, veri innovatori nel panorama dell’alternative-rock italiano. Il gruppo è formato ad Alberto Ferrari, voce e chitarra, da suo fratello Luca alla batteria, e da Roberta Sammarelli al basso.

Nel 1999 i Verdena pubblicano il loro album d’esordio, “Verdena”, che è un successo e garantisce al trio l’ingresso nel firmamento dell’alternative-rock italiano. Il video del primo singolo estratto “Valvonauta”, girato da Francesco Fei, imperversa su MTV e conquista il favore di pubblico e critica, diventando un cult. L’album vende più di quarantamila copie e vale alla band il Premio PIM di Repubblica come "Miglior gruppo rivelazione del 1999".

Nel gennaio del 2011 esce il quinto album, “Wow”, considerato un disco di culto dalla critica di genere. Tra ballad e chitarre distorte, infiltrazioni d’archi e di una chitarra acustica spagnoleggiante, i Verdena con “Wow” vanno all-in. È un progetto ambizioso che alterna rock lisergico e stoner più sfrenati, in cui il trio dimostra una capacità musicale riservata a pochi. Il pianoforte di Alberto, la batteria di Luca e le linee di basso di Roberta, sono quelle di tre musicisti che non hanno paura di incrociare stili e generi diversi per esprimere la propria visione creativa e andare verso qualcosa di nuovo.
Il live di “Wow” va sold out in poco tempo e arriva fino ai palchi di Budapest. Viene premiato come “Miglior tour rock” dal Keepon 100% live 2011, mentre l’album viene certificato Disco d’Oro e supera le 30mila copie vendute. Nello stesso anno, esce la raccolta “Verdena – 7EP limited edition”, che contiene gli EP pubblicati tra il 1999 e il 2007.
Dopo tre anni di attesa, tutto è pronto per i due volumi di “Endkadenz”. Dal primo volume vengono estratte nell’ordine “Un po’ esageri”, “Contro la ragione” e “Nevischio”. La seconda parte dell’album, “Endkadenz Vol. 2” esce nel 2015, lanciato dai singoli “Colle immane” e “Identikit”.
Per tutto il 2015 e 2016 la band è impegnata nel tour di presentazione dell’ultimo lavoro, che tocca ogni palco, dai piccoli club alle città europee (Barcellona, Parigi, Colonia, Londra, Monaco, Lussemburgo, Berlino e Amburgo).
Nel gennaio del 2022, viene pubblicato l’album “America Latina. Music inspired by the Film”: una raccolta di brani strumentali composti e orchestrati per la colonna sonora dell’omonimo film dei fratelli D’Innocenzo, e che vale alla band una candidatura ai David di Donatello 2022, nella categoria “Miglior Colonna Sonora”.

Ask the white is a duo composed by Isobel Blank (Ant Lion, Isobi, Vestfalia) and Simone Lanari (Ant Lion, Sycamore Age, Walden Waltz), two italian multi-instrumentalists, that decided to make songs together with no boundaries of style/genre.
