Eddie Da Bass / MONTY has been involved in the house music scene insince 1996.

In 2004/2005 he was resident DJ at one of the most famous party destinations in Greece and Europe, Hersonissos in Crete. And from there he travelled to Norway, where he has been resident since 2005.

In 2007 he signed up for MTV Selected. At that time this was the biggest DJ Competition in Scandinavia, and his mixing made him a finalist in Norway, handpicked by the jury which included The Swedish house Mafia, Eric Prydz & MTV. From this point his career has kept evolving!

Eddie Da Bass / MONDY/REC has travelled all over the world the past few years, sharing his dirty beatz with the dancefloors. This includes several gigs in Ibiza, Miami, New York, Toronto and also all over Europe, Norway & Scandinavia.

He recently completed the Ableton Live Producer Certificate Program at the highly renowned DUBSPOT in NYC, and is now working hard in the studio to finish up an EP, a studio album and several tracks & remixes.

Since 2010 he has been a part of a DJ/production trio called R.E.C., which is Ralph Myerz, Eddie Da Bass & Carina Faye.
Quickly after they started working together they hit the jackpot in a remix competition, and their first release was a remix for techno legend Abe Duque & Blake Baxter, with the track "What happened". The remix package got a lot of attention, and they received a lot of good feedback from highly respected names on the techno-scene.

Their EP "RECommended is due for release this August on Disco Piñata records, and their album titled "DiscoTech" is due for release in KLIK Records sometime this year.

He recently also signed a track together with Carina Faye, which will be released this summer on UnderTechnical Recordings.

Eddie Da Bass / MONDY is well known for his energetic DJ sets! He has also taken it to another lever by doing LIVE remixing during his sets in Ableton, bringing some extra flavor to the night. 

Needless to say MONTY is a name to watch out for in the music scene, there are great things to come in the future.

Alex Faasse, also known as theasofasocomfystudio, studied chemistry in Delft during the early nineties. Started to compose, in midi-format on a Roland E15, SC55 soundmachine and a 386SX computer...oldskool stuff... During some experimental years he was the main composer of his band Escape until 1996. When the band fell apart he became a studio musician, producing tracks for fun and various theatre projects.Currently the musical focus is on whatever intuitions brings and since 2012 tracks are available on  I-tunes, emusic, Amazon and Spotify. Alexx Faasse is now a well known photographer, no new music is to be expected on a short term.
