Initially Brought together via a love of the culture surrounding skateboarding, and with one foot on each side of the English Channel, AOU combines the vocal aptitude of Guy Stevenson, multi-instrumentalIST flair and the production knowledge of William Moreau and Quentin Sarda.

Listing influences as polaric as Air and Joy Division and with a creative attitude anchored in a love of travel and exploration, AOU produce music that gives a nod to their inspirations in the creation of something entirely new.

With Futureboogie’s Christophe bridging the gap between label and artist, an apt pairing is formed and, with the release of ‘Gordo Laika’, we get an enlivening insight into an auspicious new musical collective as well as the further strengthening of Soft Touch’s evolving catalogue

Julian Jeweil, a French artist based in southern France and Berlin, is one of the most talked about underground Techno artists. He found his signature sound through his various productions and live sets, all characterized by a melodic style of techno. "I was at Warung back in 2012 discussing music with Seth Troxler. We both recognised that a key factor for a good producer/DJ is to make and play 'interesting music', void of any arbitrary genre or labelling. Long story short, i sent him this thing i had been sitting on called Tripi and he went on to champion that record for a good year and finally released it on his label as the inaugural release. I was inspired by how that record resonated with a lot of Djs from all across the musical gamut. So i made a follow up of sorts and here you have it."
