Burning Man 2022 Friday Night Set @ Get Toasted

After many years of playing at Burningman I finally recorded one of my sets.

This mix in a way is a love letter I could not put into words. The flow and the journey is what was the most important and I can’t stress how fun it was to be able to play, ghetto tech, T-Rex, Afro House, BreakBeat, Latin House, The B-52’s, Talking Heads, Cheryl Lynn, Lil Wayne, Dee-Lite, Mex-Tech, Cumbia, Funk, Will Smith, The Beatles, Deep House, Chicago House, Dark Disco, George Michael, Spice Girls, Techno and soo much more. 

With all the minor imperfections that come with beat matching, live looping, sampling, and playing on playa (someone passing out on the decks, malfunctioning equipment, etc) this mix is something I feel very proud of. 

I hope this mix speaks as strongly to whom ever may be listening, as it does and did to me.

Burningman 2022: Tuesday 8.30 MetaPhoenix

It has been quite some time since the last time we gathered for a night of MBTS. I wanted to take some time after the pandemic to be quiet and see how the dance music scene would evolve, and what sounds would come out of the standstill that was Covid. Now that I have a good sense of where I want to be sonically, and what kind of energy I want to spread onto dance floors, I am ready to restart MBTS in 2023.
