In 2007, Sebastien begins his electroacoustic music studies at the University of Montreal in Canada. Since 2013, he holds a Master’s degree on “The integration of spatialization in acousmatic music as well as its performance in concert. This project on sound spatialization was achieved with the help of Robert Normandeau, at UofM. During the course of his Master’s, he also benefited from an exchange program in order to study for one year in the United Kingdom, at De Montfort University, Leicester, with the composer John Young. 

In 2014, Sebastien has started his PhD research and he is currently working on the Spatial presentation of Electronic Dance Music with his research director Monty Adkins at the University of Huddersfield, in the UK.

Sebastien regards himself as belonging to a new generation of students in music who use the Laptop as musical instrument. This compositional tool allows him to develop his musical skills as much on stage as in the studio. What totally gets him in electroacoustic music is the possibility, with technologies, to generate a multitude of hybrid musical forms. 

Sound explorator, he travels through the diverse avenues of noise and music in order to capture and compose the novel sounds. Sebastien is a 2014 winner in the CEC’s annual JTTP project. This national association is supporting the work of Canadian-based young and emerging sound artists.

Very few can boast that they created a ‘Classic Trance Anthem’ in their studio but that accolade is one of many that Steve Allen can claim!

During Steve’s time as the producer and DJ within the project ‘Allen & Envy’, Steve managed to create a number of global hits including ‘Silhouette’, ‘Stole The Sun’, 'Don’t Say', ‘Home’, ‘Rush’, ‘Rescue Me’ and ‘Kardia’. He created regular music for Armada, Black Hole, Future Sound Of Egypt, Garuda, Flashover, Pure Trance and his trance has been championed by the likes of Armin Van Buuren, Aly & Fila, Paul Van Dyk, Solarstone and countless others.

Now as a solo act, Steve’s debut solo album “Uplift” released on his own label of the same name (a sub label of Raz Nitzan Music), topped 2.4million Spotify plays, and he has produced countless chart topping hits such as “Broken Child” “Frozen River” “Skyfire”  and his collaboration with Paul Van Dyk “Fairytales” featured on Paul’s “from Then On Album” 

It comes as no surprise why Steve’s productions have dominated the Beatport charts for the last 6 years with his ‘Allen & Envy’ project reaching Top10 status on Beatstats Artists, and as a solo act more recently reaching number 1 for a total of 5 months. A chart of the highest charting acts on Beatport over a 12 month period!

Steve’s talents aren’t just in the studio, playing his productions at the worlds biggest events is something that drives and motivates him. One of his peak experiences being when he played a producer set at the launch of “Transmission Melbourne” in front of a sold out 8,000 fans!

He started with his youtube channel where presents every month selection with best of the best pure trance releases, 
every monthly mix fully of real musical journey from progressive, uplifting, melodic and euphoric till tech and psy trance.  
Real Pure Trance is his logo not fake, not imitation. Shortly after listened first time Trance music, started producing music and found his passion in this place.
His every track has a real story of life, emotions are a basic in his productions.
In 2016 He tried his capabilities in remix contest and in results his won a release, next future contests won again,
this start gave to power to finished his first debut single track "Anywhere With You" his never expected success of this track, 
in January of 2017 world premiere in FSOE radioshow played by Aly & FIla, 
wining show and played as a Future Sound in FSOE radioshow again. 
Next single tracks "Come from Nowhere", "Eov" supported also by Aly & FIla, and latest "Higher State". 
This is a begining of his way to the music future.
