4th release on Rotation Mecanique belongs to the artist Rudiment.

Based on life principles and a personal experiences, the artist were hiding with analog synthesizers and a simple microphone on the suburbs of the city. During lockdown in his apartment he creates a release called "Russian Album" in the genres familiar to the label- Minimal & Cold Wave. The overall sound of the album is characterized by a trance mood, tragedy, melancholy and an off-season apathy.

8 solid tracks, all having that deep meaning and personal feelings in the content. You can dance to it, you can think about it!

The composition "Russian man” tells about suffering and torment
societies from the beginning of the ages. “Father" is an emotional biographical experience of the artist and tells about care/respect for an elder and beloved one. “Silence Tactics" testifies to a vicious circle, where the silence is the main method of the majority to obtain a comfortable social life. "Losing Stan" emphasizes the problems of modern youth, which loses their mind in the race for the hype of the nightlife of the cities. In the track “V.P.V.I." you could feel the spirit and ghost of USSR, where the key of development criterion was caring for a younger generation, as well as praising sports and labor discipline. "Breathe on the Window" is an ode to the false principles of people and their vile attitude towards each other.

The tracks are recorded with love for synthesizer music, art and an emotional context in the lyrics. It will be released this fall, when the nights turn colder, the beaches became empty and the sky became gloomy. Immerse yourself with this cold aesthetics!

The album «Naivety» consists of 6 viscous psychedelic dance stories written by the artist and one remix on its main track «Naivety in Cerrocupo» done by the resident DJ and co-founder of the Dusseldorf - based club/ bar "Salon Des Amateurs" Tolouse Low Trax. Throughout the album, we are hearing a subtle connection between contemporary electronic music and psychedelic shamanism, permeated with the caustic sounds of analog synthesizers, live instruments, drum machines with some magical hypnosis added. The final track «Over The Wall» allows the listener to breathe some fresh air and finally free himself from the shackles of the audio ritual described above.

Alberto de Angeli aka Aheadacheaday - half of the experimental audiovisual duo ALAN. You can listen to his monthly Internet Public Radio set Sunday Headaches, a show focused on independent labels’ specials and guests (Sacha Mambo, Gil.Barte, Alex Egan, Charlotte Atomi)or spinning vinyls as a resident at Fred Records (Milan), with a glass nearby.

«Naivety» was released on a limited quantity audio cassette C-51 and has the double-page spread in a quality polygraphic. The ultraviolet dyeing on a white audio cassette is another essential attribute of RMR002. Only 20 copies available!

The professional TAPE 1 mastering is the beneficial that allows to listen it on some easy household appliances, as well as on any HI-FI / HI-END equipment. And it’s different from the digital sales mastering. We always care about the excellent sound quality of all our releases. By purchasing the cassette, you will also get the download code for this album in Digital (Incl. Tolouse Low Trax Remix).

Sweet Apocalypse could have been the name of this new opus by the Israeli producer Jack Carel. With Turn It Up, Jack Carel decides to punch the current crisis mood in the face. With its very deep and loud ambient sounds, the new EP of this very mysterious producer is a love declaration to the act of faith, patience, hope, and the anticipation of a coming revolution. 
Turn It Up is the musical proof that strength can and must be found in darkness. To be stronger, one must fall; to find, one must lose; to rebuild, one must deconstruct. 

Rougher and more disconcerting then what Jack Carel used to produce, Turn It Up is the flag of a new era, a new vision, after 20 years producing music. “I'm always trying to make the next track different,” he explains. “This EP is me trying to bring a trippy, groovy, rough, and raw journey to this perspective with heavy drums and psychedelic energy.”

Born in 1980, Jackov Carel aka Jack Carel, grew up in Tel Aviv, during the electronic revolution of the mid-90s. Heavily influenced by bands like The Chemical Brothers and techno artists such as Jeff Mills, Sven Vath or Dave Clarke, he started creating his own unique music, sounds and rhythms in 2002. Architect by profession and influenced by movies, he makes music that has no compromises, combining techno, dark breaks, electronica, psychedelia, and with his new EP, Turn It Up, rock, trip hop, industrial and EBM energy.

When asking Jack Carel his state of mind regarding this last 2020 year, he talks about fear and hope for better days. Which is how he starts his opus, with the eponymous track Turn It Up.

Turn It Up is a perfect way of introducing an EP about reconstruction. Twisted and agitated, both alienated and hopeful, Turn It Up finds harmony and light through off-beats and grating sounds, turning them into a grunge and ambient noise combination.

With Not An Option, Jack Carel keeps going on the road of a rough and psychedelic techno trip. On a more peaceful note, Not An Option is the transition track of the EP, a reflection on the world and a long-suffering observation of a situation that will not last. It’s the perfect way to introduce what is maybe the strongest track of the opus, Lost Again. 

Lost Again is: eyes opening, the light coming into the dark, the heavy drums that come to shake everything up. Lost Again is the track of a troubled awakening amidst unavoidable change. 

This leads to Time Crisis, much more groovy and controlled. Like a situation that is meant to get back to normal. It's the come back of dance, warmth and humanity.  

How to end such a troubled EP ? With the troubled track. Damn It. Deliciously tormented and flickering, with Damn It, Jack Carel flirts with acid and noise waves to leave us on an uncertain path with the energy of renewal and liberation.

Being one of his favourite platforms, Carel naturally chose the Lithuanian record label whypeopledance to release his new EP. Created in 2012, WhyPeopleDance is a non-profit music platform for creators, which aims to promote quality dance and anti-dance music. The team released 5 albums with their netlabel called Materia. Turn It Up is their first official digital release, launch of the label under the name of whypeopledance.

Turn It Up EP will be available on February 4th 2021 on Bandcamp.
