With a penchant for Bulgarian Dancers, this self proclaimed polyglot, (When drunk) known as Aspen Bizarre Disco, has followed up his debut release with this purest Disco House track. Queen of Funk is a funkadelic blast from the past yet presented in the new era of Disco House. This package includes 5 tracks from 5 countries, each one with their own spin. 

The crazy German known as Aspen Bizarre Disco, has been able to create a throwback to the days of disco past while still keeping it fresh with a modern day House feel. This feel good Disco House concoction is sure to keep the purists of both genres smiling while cuttin’ rug. 

Our man Thomas Brown aka: Dr. Brown turns the corner a bit by reeling in the disco and leaning to the funk. The man from Hungary decides to funk it up by adding a groovy bass while chopping up the vocals and slapping it in the ass. This track, like the original is able to cross back and forth between House and Disco House ensuring that everyone gets down and gets funky. 

We have a Tech House remix from the cheeky Italian Alex Franchini aka: Livecat7. Alex has done the impossible by stripping off the Disco and slapping it with the Tech. This transformation has made for a real bouncy track for those Techy’s. 

Now flying over the Canada we have the E- Love Remix. A sultry dub from the Vancouver, BC based duo that highlights all of the great qualities of the original version while still managing to make this track their own. 

And finally from the United States of America, we have the Jon Lee Remix. This dreamy delight gets stuck in your head with his multiple layers of ear candy. This remix is perfect for lounge beats and patio weather.

ist ein neue Dj Konstellation von zwei höchst motivierten Freunden die vor haben den Old School House wieder unter das Partyvolk zubringen…
Uns ist mal in einer gemütlichen Runde aufgefallen das die Zeit und Musik echt schnell voran geschritten und der schöne House aus unserer Zeit völlig verschwunden ist und das es echt Schade für den schönen von Disco über Funky bis zum Jazzigen House der 1990 und Anfang 2000 Jahre verdient hat doch nochmal gespielt zu werden...
Gerade heute ist der House Sound so ein umfangreiche Musik Richtung geworden das man den wahren House vergaß….
Daher haben wir uns es zur Aufgabe gemacht es den jungen und den älteren Partyvolk wieder zu vermitteln wie schön er war und immer noch ist....

Recording under different aliases, the Burrell Brothers were the backbone
of Nu Groove Records. This New York label started in 1987 and took
inspiration from Trax Records, both musically and aesthetically. This
compilation compiles the absolute best of the Burrell's output and in
doing so is giving us a valuable insight to the much overlooked roots of
New York house music.
