For our 118th edition, we have the pleasure of having Griff Fulton aka Aspetuck. Currently living in Hudson, NY, Aspetuck's music wishes you were in a dream and this mix is no exception. The mix was recorded in the beautiful woodlands of Vermont where Griff grew up as a child. Having released on one of our fav label, @oslated, Griff is far from being new to the circuit with over 30 mixes delivered and numerous releases on labels like RDV Music, Telomere Plastic, Lagaffe Tales and etc.

Griff's upcoming album Early Color is set to be released on 15th September on his newly founded label @never-late which he has launched with @huedj and @gilleswasserman , the team behind the ever-eclectic @itsdelayed collective from Brooklyn, New York. Both lads have also graced us with their mixes previously with #107 from @huedj, a personal favorite of one of our founders Hassan, and #100 from @gilleswasserman and @irina-kotik as Moon Patrol, one of the most listened and loved mixes on this platform to date.

Last Friday marked an exciting milestone for our burgeoning record label, Never Late. We proudly unveiled the inaugural chapter of our musical journey, an awe-inspiring masterpiece brought to life by none other than one of our imprint's co-founders, the illustrious Griff Fulton, known to many as Aspetuck. As we embark on this exciting venture, each forthcoming release will be accompanied by a tantalizing blend of music, an intimate interview, and an exploration into the creative realms of the artists who will be the torchbearers of Never Late.

While it's admittedly challenging to remain entirely objective about this first mix, we can confidently say that it showcases Aspetuck's most refined work behind the decks to date. This mix is a masterclass in balance, serving as an ideal sonic bridge from day into night, perfectly tailored for an unforgettable party experience. “Synesthesia” is the second release from A_A, the experimental live project of Satoshi Tomiie and Nao Gunji.
Since the first album last year the project has had a number of sessions and recorded countless improvisation jams. This release features 4 of those jams in different moods and styles.

“The name stands for ABSTRACT_ARCHITECTURE, this represents its craft, sound and texture.”
Recorded completely live, A_A merges early house music production techniques with those of 20th century experimental music. Classic rhythm machines, samplers and synths reside side-by-side with various approaches such as Musique Concrète, Tape-Delay, Chance and Granular Synthesis through the usage of modular synths + some home-made stuff.
