Australian sensation Elypsis, whose past work possesses the sophistication and simple beauty of a songwriter far beyond his years, continues to awe our global audience with each new offering. Having recently collaborated with veteran songwriter and vocalist Arielle Maren on the ineffably soulful and timeless single "Always Be," Elypsis now treats us to another beautiful vocal cut, "I Won't Let Go." Featuring the soothing and effortlessly beautiful vocals of Elypsis' frequent collaborator Mandy Reign, this soothing deep house single is paired with the atmospheric and moody B-side "Adrift At Sea."

Beginning with a full verse from Mandy Reign, "I Won't Let Go" offers listeners a lush and romantic soundscape from its earliest moments. Behind the vocals, delicate deep house percussion and harmonious synth lines reinforce the sentimental, after-hours vibes. In the main breakdown, we are met by the titular vocal hook, as well as one of the most memorable lines of the song: "So if you help me to find my way and overcome my darkest days, I promise you I'll never let you go." 

One immediately experiences a darker, more brooding energy from "Adrift At Sea," the B-side of Elypsis' new EP. A bell-tinged theme and a captivating vocal effect, both of which appear throughout the tune, float above a deliciously resonant groove. The suspenseful buildup of these elements ultimately leads to a heartbreaking new theme: an extended guitar solo, which drips with the loneliness and despair of a sailor lost at sea.

This week we're extremely proud to welcome the solo return of Winterya, after he's been featured on our collective compilations. And he does it with class with not one, not two, not three tracks but with a proper 5-track mini album that's sure to put endless smiles on your faces. Having been a Synth family member since our label's inception, it's with utmost excitement that we present what we believe it to be Winterya's magnum opus, thus far. 
Starting off with 'A thousand smiles', which couldn't have a more fitting name, we're hit with warm vibes from the first notes. Sunshine concentrate to say the least, the track has slight Tycho-like touches and a parade of melodies. We continue with 'Don't look back' and the title track 'Falling Seeds' , choons that have all of Johan's artist characteristics, warm pads, sun-drenched melodies and dreamy chords. We hit another high note with 'Cold air', the fourth track that is yet another embodiment of toes sunk deep into sand with its laidback groove and cheeky use of vocal chops. 
'Susanna', named after his sister, ends the mini album and is an ode to her. Packed with summer sounds, this release is perfect for your relaxing times, delivering high on the feel-good scale, being another proof of Winterya's huge talent for addictive 'butterflies in stomach' music.

‘Music Rescues Me’ is the single trailblazer for Paul van Dyk’s fall-released, ninth studio album of the same name. It reunites the internationally renowned music producer with collaborators from not one, but two of his best loved releases of recent times.

For the track’s vocal, Paul is joined by Plumb - the singer who rendered 2012’s ‘I Don’t Deserve You’ much of its emotional punch. ‘Music Rescues Me’s song is co-penned by the lyricist behind latter-day van Dyk anthem ‘Home’, Snow Patrol member and long-time personal friend, Johnny McDaid. 

Paul & Plumb’s shared history reaches back three whole PvD albums, to ‘EVOLUTION’ and ‘I Don’t Deserve You’. Beloved by fans from both quarters, the pair stayed in close contact, looking for the right project to resume the partnership on. That came following a songwriting session between Paul and Johnny. “It took some time, but, says Paul, in ‘Music Rescues Me’, I knew we had the right follow-up for Plumb”. 

Paul’s album opener is a rapture-filled commemoration of music’s remarkable, unending and sometimes even inexplicable capacity to liberate and release. Says Paul “music’s ability to conjure imagery, fuel memories, get us through the tougher times and soundtrack the good ones is awe inspiring. It’s both force and a gift and although I’ve been involved with it for a long time, I’ll never completely understand it. I feel that’s a big part of what keeps it so magical for me and Plumb & Johnny have helped me pay tribute to all that through this release”.

Set amidst epic, reverb-rich guitars strains and dynamic rhythms, ‘Music Rescues Me’ is a track whose rapturously positive-thinking/feeling chorus is only equalled by its imaginatively stimulating verses. It follows three urbanites drawn together on a day-and-night-long, ultimately preternatural journey across Los Angeles.
