So... I've been trying out the B-Standard tuning on the JSM-10 and I've really been enjoying it. Together with the Bluguitar AMP1 settings I've been using the lower string tension really allows for a very organic phrasing. Definitely using this sound on the record. 

I've also used the Vigier Excalibur (Shawn Lane Master) with the same amp settings to counter the boominess and woody-ness of the JSM-10.

The harmonic basis for the whole thing is a chordal idea I had while reading about in the book "A Theory of Harmony" by ERnst Levy. Some of the melody lines are based on a short fragment/theme I want to use with the chords
