Hailing from Liverpool, and plying their trade under London lights, Assembly deliver their very own blend of indie-folk melodies with a distinctive pop-rock drive.

Formed late 2009, Assembly have persistently played to packed houses at some of London's best known live venues. Musicovered described them as, "not being afraid to take risks," and "know how to play up to a crowd"

January 2012 saw the release of their third studio EP, "WOKEN BY SIRENS." A collection of up-beat pop-rock classics with rumbling undertones of what might have been.

Assembly's material is, "guaranteed to leave a lasting impression."

'Easier Than Falling' debut album due for release on April 29th 2016. A perfect selection of mellow tunes with hints of Jazz, Folk and Soul throughout. Unsigned, Anna funded the recording of her album via a successful Pledge Music campaign. Album was recorded at Parr Street Studios in Liverpool September 2015

Anna graduated from Goldsmiths college in 2005, with a Bachelor of Music degree. Since then, she has been performing extensively nationwide, holding residencies in some of the country's most exclusive establishments. Anna spent her time in London experimenting with the music and arrangements of her favourite artists and her passion for the craft of the iconic singer-songwriters developed as her repertoire expanded. 

During Anna's time mastering the art of the late night piano bars of London Anna began to crave the focus of music lovers and  'listening audiences'.
These audiences were initially found venturing outside of London and back to her home town of Liverpool in 2009 where Anna  created quite a stir with her live performance.
As a solo artist and in conjunction with  a great community of Liverpool's musicians - her live performances consistently receive much acclaim. 

Based between Liverpool and her now home in Northumberland for Anna, it has always been about the live set, and the live sound. "The music business is in a strange place at the moment - With everything so available online these days, So few people pay for music now..they watch videos for free on youtube instead....But I really believe, people will ALWAYS want to go out to watch live gigs and concerts. And that means as musicians, we need to be constantly  performing, evolving and perfecting our skill'

I'm a music teacher and podcaster too. All my shows are free and I don't get any money from doing them. I do it for the pleasure of listening and sharing excelente independent music. Cowboy Cantor, my first podcast, was the first to be produced from the Azores islands, Portugal (not shure if there is any other podcast in these islands). I am also the only Portuguese member of the Association of Music Podcasting.
