A State Of Twerk (A State of Trap Episode 27)

A State Of Trap is @DJSpacecamp and @flashflooder, trading off live-mixed episodes of the best new trap, trill, and twerk music. 

Sound Syndicate was started by original members, Jonathan Poindexter and Atom Marquette, in 2014 because they realized that their DJing styles complement each other quite well and that their use of diverse equipment made transitions and going “back to back” much easier (DJ controller vs. a vinyl setup).  Together they have over ten years of experience rocking dancefloors!  They have held residencies at clubs and bars across Kansas City including:  Riot Room, Empire Room, The Foundry, Czar Bar, Velvet Dog, Haus among others. Jonathan mixes Bass, Deep, and Future house genres; while Atom excels in Hip-Hop, Trap, Dubstep, and Twerk music. Together they have worked alongside many notable DJs and producers from all over the world such as SKisM, Zooly, Party Thieves, Must Die!, Megalodon, Speaker of the House, No Sleep, Ghost of Venice, Rainer and Grimm, Dallas Cotton, Cavalier Beats, Flamingosis and Luca Lush.  They also have worked with most of the local DJ’s and Hip-Hop artists on many occasions and are partners in the Kansas City music label, Elevator Music Inc
