Gordon McInnes is from Glasgow and has lived there all of his life. He has been writing and producing music for the past 27 years. Gordon comes from a musical background. His late father was an ardent home producer in his spare time, writing and producing music in the style of New Age and ‘Gregorian Chants’ and has strongly influenced Gordon in his appreciation for the New Age Genre, Enya, Deep Forrest, Enigma. Gordon’s music has been heavily influenced by well known Trance acts such as 'Chicane' ‘Solar Stone’, ‘Blank and Jones’, ‘4-Strings’, ‘Space Brothers’ and ‘Rank 1’ all of which have influenced Gordon’s Trance projects whereby he goes by the alias ‘Goldengate’ which he started as a Trance project back in 2002.

"Shadow Signal" is a dark, atmospheric synthwave piece inspired by retro horror and 80s science fiction. Built around pulsing analog synths, haunting arpeggios, and cinematic textures, the track evokes the feeling of tuning into a mysterious broadcast from another dimension. It’s the opening theme to a show that doesn’t exist — yet — where secrets hide in the static and the unknown is just a frequency away.

A smoldering reverie steeped in electric fog, this downtempo voyage slips between velvet shadows and neon shimmer, unfurling with the elegant drift of memory in motion. Synths glisten like distant signal flares over lo-fi textures and jazz-kissed chords, echoing the heartbeat of a future imagined and already forgotten.

It exists in the liminal—the quiet space between pulse and breath, nostalgia and noir. There's a magnetic stillness to it, as if the music were tracing the contours of a story never told, a skyline never touched.
