Waiting to get my guitar back……I broke my wrist, 😡😡right hand, and I have at least 5 weeks if all goes well before I can play again….. I invite you to listen to this timeless  song,... A little throwback to the 75's, I was a fan of this great vocal group,Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young,. and naturally I wanted to share this title, as it is, without editing, the original sound……. was one of my first models made on Revox 2 tracks and Teac 4 tracks in 1975. Sarcastic War

A simple idea: what if an astronaut on a mission was hurled into space, like in the movie "Gravity"? His spacesuit still offers him an estimated 45 minutes of oxygen to breathe. He floats close to the orbit of a planet, but its gravity is too weak. But even if it were strong enough to bind him to it, what then? He dives into the atmosphere and...burns up! So he floats through the darkness of space for an infinite 44 minutes until he passes out. True, with a fantastic view in 360 degrees...but what's the use?

We are SO small that after 45 minutes (44 minutes because the unconsciousness will occur before) we have hardly put back more than a few kilometers. Kilometers in which our entire life runs like a movie in front of the mind's eye. 

We are small in view of the sheer infinite size of space!

After doing a special feature on Ryuichi Sakamoto in tribute, I felt inspired to create another instrumental piece. From now on, I will divide my updates into two categories: Instrumentals on Wednesdays and Vocal tracks on Sundays, with two updates per week. The first Instrumental Wednesday will begin with "Transcending," a collaboration I recently introduced with mozawa_*.

(Best experienced through earphones) a Stolen Glow are an outfit from Co. Wexford, Ireland. The group consists of James Murphy - 'Byrdz' [pronounced 'Birds'] (E.S.S. & One For Sorrow), and Alan Davis (E.S.S.) As a studio band the pair worked on a Stolen Glow for over ten years, with James, carefully crafting a blend of home-made rock music, and Alan, carefully focusing on some music, but then cutting his teeth on video animation. Two E.P.'s emerged 2016's 'Just Far Enough Away' and 2019's 'Rough Mixes'. The outfit's  album 'Ten Track Recorder' saw the light of day in 2020, and then the mainly (drop D based guitar tuned) 12 track album '11 Items' was released in the year 2022. (Both of these albums can be found on this page.)
