at the age of 14. This song was gifted to
me by the Most High God (Yahuah)in a dream.
For many years I abused His gift.
After my voice was literally silenced by Yah
for three days, I re-dedicated my gift to HIM.
Through humility I now over-stand that

Marc de Buur was born on 20 February 1983 in a provincial town in Saxony. Enthusiastic about Electronic Music as a teenager Marc began to turn the use of panels.

Looking forward with Marc, his music is very gratifying to him because of the time, effort, love and passion he has making his productions. He looks confidently into the future and keeps you always informed!

Signed to Prog Rock Records in 2009, the Colourphonics have been kicking around the Adelaide music scene where they’ve angrily sliced through various musical genres, thrown them into a cliff-bound clown car and greased the steering wheel. The Colourphonics exist to entertain those who like their music live and alive. Album tracks are doomed to the past as a predilection for unplanned musical excursions means history will not be repeated here, son.

The album was engineered at Hillside Recordings in Adelaide by Matt Hills and mastered by the legendary David Briggs, former guitarist of The Little River Band and producer for many classic Australian bands such as Australian Crawl and No Fixed Address. The exact feel of the album was intended to be that of a live performance so, to that end, the album was entirely tracked live with minimal fix-ups and overdubs. In the case of the Sunset Trilogy, all three tracks were played consecutively.

Heads inextricably tilted towards the future, you just never know what genre ties these musical maniacs will sever and knot together next. In the words of the spiritual leader of the band, Frank Zappa, “You can't always write a chord ugly enough to say what you want to say, so sometimes you have to rely on a giraffe filled with whipped cream.” 

Who is Beyond Me? Time will tell; their past provides a telling prologue. 


The Band consists of a group of young musicians some of whom have played together since high school. 


Beyond Me is not the band you may have heard in 2009 immediately before The Flaming Lips at City Stages in Birmingham, nor is it the band to which you may have rocked at City Hall in Nashville in 2008.


Beyond Me is composed of a group of ever evolving, talented, energetic musicians whose life-long dedication to music sprang from their individual and collective passion for this inimitable art form. The travails of their arduous journey have culminated in the production of a musical expression that resonates and leaves an indelible imprint. 


Beyond Me easily could have chosen to be a pop band receiving immediate but shallow gratification. Instead, the Band was initially heavy metal, but the members came to realize through grueling live performances that the message they wanted to convey needed to emanate from a broader sound that contained insightful melodies and lyrics. 


Currently Beyond Me is in the process of releasing two singles from what will ultimately be their presently untitled debut album. These singles give you the immediate ability to feel the contrast of the captivating and intense music this talented group is writing and recording. 


With perseverance and dedication as the Band's guiding principles, Beyond Me has evolved exponentially. The result is the creation of a refreshing new sound that is contagious. 


One constant has always been the integrity of their music. 


Beyond Me has grown and benefited from taking time to engage in reflection, self analysis and to learn from musicians they admire. This has permitted the Band to develop and compose music as impactful as their original goal.


Through itunes on 5/29/2012 you will have the opportunity to hear "Reaching Out" and "Get On Your Knees."
