Hello World!
I just wanted to inform you that i'll be on the road from September until somewhere around March/April. My Adventure is not based on gigs or even made for the purpose to get gigs, but i thought it might be nice for one or the other event organizer to get a young swiss artist booked without having to pay a lot flight costs.

On the artwork is visible when i will be where. Though it is not clear how the Covid situation will be, wherever i am at that time, but i'll be there anyway. I will be bringing my new Live Set 2021 and a Psytrance DJ Set with me, and of course, alot of good energy and some Patronus merchandise.

Dave Aju remixes, DJ sets, and live performances are in high demand at labels, clubs, and festivals across the globe. And now, following the success and praise for his debut album Open Wide – created entirely with his mouth, and the acclaimed autobiographical follow-up Heirlooms, Aju is more active than ever further developing his musical universe, including some promising collaborations such as the voice of Guillaume & The Coutu Dumonts’ new band project The Side Effects, new works for Matthew Herbert’s Accidental label and more recently the release of his 3rd studio album, Black Frames.

"This is a one-take vinyl mix of a few personal non-club classics that recall beautiful moments and people in my life. From the moment I first saw The Skull Sessions LP artwork in my father's collection as a kid, and being blown away at the first Tortoise show a good friend took me to almost 20 years ago, to landing in Brazil on tour with Arthur Verocai in the headphones, smashing down the 101 South freeway bumping J Dilla in summertime heat, or playing notorious SF bar nights with the Magnificent 7 DJ collective. 

Most of the records were just pulled from storage back home in the Bay Area last month and brought back overseas to Berlin, so in many ways this was like having a nice catch-up session with old friends while introducing them to some new ones I've met more recently. The mix was made in the cave with two Technics 1210 MK2s, a Rane Empath mixer, some pretty nasty back-up needles borrowed from Mike Shannon, and love."

Astral Gnomix è un progetto di musica Goa Trance sperimentale che è nato dall’amore di Yan Boffelli per la musica psichedelica e i sintetizzatori.

Con grande passione, ricerca della strumentazione, del suono, dei giusti componenti elettrici, circuiti elettrici sperimentali e la grande devozione per la musica è nato questo progetto.

Che dire, un’artista fuori dal comune con una grande esperienza nell’utilizzo di synth, nelle registrazioni e mastering ma soprattutto nella musica suonata dal vivo e nella ricerca di nuovi orizzonti.
Infatti durante i Live Act che propone si può sentire e vedere il meglio di questo musicista che ogni volta presenta qualche cosa di inaspettato.

Ascoltando la sua musica potete sentire una miriade di suoni sperimentali completamente al di fuori dalla norma e spesso con composizioni scritte come se fossero storie. Questo progetto musicale molto complesso rappresenta una sorta di Old School mischiata con i più moderni stili. È qualcosa che vale sicuramente la pena di ascoltare e che non hai ancora ancora sentito.

Yan, il creatore del progetto Astral Gnomix e fondatore dello studio Other Word Record per tanti anni ha collaborato con l’etichetta Germanica BMSS per poi prendere la sua strada.

Di professione operaio, ha famiglia con due figli, una compagna e due cani, passa la maggior parte del tempo a ricercare e sperimentare nuove possibilità nel suo studio che per anni è stata la sua casa.
Adesso ha costruito uno studio professionale dove continua a sperimentare, studiare e comporre nuova musica.

Il personaggio è molto schivo e timido e a lui non piace farsi riconoscere per ciò ha sempre cercato di rimanere nascosto. Ma visto la sua esperienza è giunta l’ora di aprire al pubblico la sua conoscenza e la sua passione musicale.

Negli anni Astral Gnomix ha prodotto musica e live fuori dal comune e dagli standard, suonando sempre musica diversa per ogni occasione. Così facendo ha fatto fatica a farsi apprezzare dagli organizzatori o dall’etichetta con cui ha collaborato ma lui è un’artista e ritiene che non può lavorare con gli standard che tutti utilizzano ed è proprio da questa non conformità che è nata la sua musica con basi molto complesse e potenti.

Astral Gnomix crede nella magia, nell'amore, nell'armonia, nella luce e nella pace. Crede che la psichedelica, la danza e l'apertura mentale e spirituale vadano di pari passo e non devono avere limiti ne condizioni. 

Proteggi e rispetta la terra e tutti gli esseri viventi che la abitano perchè anche tu ne fai parte.
