About Lucid Dreaming Records

Lucid Dreaming Records is a boutique record label based in Western Australia that has developed itself a fine reputation since starting out in 2011. As well as having a core family of artists, LDR represents a carefully curated selection of producers from across the globe that are both established and very much on the up. In sonic terms the label offers a unique brand of house and techno with dark overtones, melodic richness and plenty of forward looking ideals: when you hear a Lucid Dreaming release we want it to evoke certain emotions and feelings inside of you. We want you to dream big and lose your self in the music.

As well as releasing music, so too is LDR responsible for throwing some much loved and always anticipated parties throughout Summer, offering yet another insight into their take on house and techno.

Over the course of the last three plus decades, the German born DJ, musician and composer Marc Romboy has become synonymous with a soulful electronic music sound that has taken him all over the world. As well as releasing on only the most influential labels, from Innervisions to Cocoon and Kompakt to Senso Sounds, he is also the sole mastermind behind the influential Systematic Recordings label and has been since 2004.

Nowadays an album specialist, 2006 saw him release his debut album, the captivating „Gemini" whilst in 2017 Marc released his first listening long player called „Voyage de la planète“, a pure electronica album with classical music influence and later, in summer 2017 the live recording of his collaboration with the Dortmund Philharmonic Orchestra called „Reconstructing Debussy“, in cooperation with Boiler Room hit the stores.

Despite being a key player for so long, Marc is still as relevant as ever and remains right at the sharp end of electronic music. Proof of that comes in the form of his DJ schedule, which takes him from Fabric to Womb and Berghain to Rex, as well as to not one but three separate Boiler Room shows. All three proved Marc to be a dexterous performer who never relies on obviousness or gimmicks, instead telling truly musical stories that place dancers right at the heart of the action.

Worked many clubs over the years before retiring from full time club work
now just do mixes for myself , mates and who ever else might care bout listening , not into mountaIns of sampling and loops
just straight mixing for stuff to listen to at home or at partys etc.

Described as “The DJs, DJ” Anthony Pappa truly is a master of his craft and one of the most respected and revered DJs on the international circuit.
