"Moonclipse is the surprising outcome of two friends, Avi Shmailov & Omri Sasi, meeting in the studio in the midst of a global pandemic. Avi is the mastermind behind Astrix, a leading figure in the electronic dance music world for 2 decades. While mainly releasing Psytrance Astrix had dabbled in other genres through the years. Last year found him collaborating with Guy J in a chart topping tune, and his track Universo together with Rising Dust is being played by the leading Techno DJs nonstop. Omri is a cross-genre DJ and electronic dance events organizer in Israel for many years, playing and producing a diverse spectrum of musical styles. 
With time on their hands during long lockdowns they decided to explore the world of Melodic Techno & House for fun and Moonclipse was born. Deep Distance is the debut EP featuring two groovy dancefloor grabbers full of feel & emotion with a tribal touch and addictive melodies. "

So, anyone here likes this track? Apparently many people do. The funny thing about it, is that when Lish and I sat in the studio to collaborate, around 2006, we made a completely different track. But we decided that is wasn't good enough...so we scrapped it, and started a new one - which became 'The light'...  The rest is history. Enjoy!

Astrix broke into global consciousness in 2002 with his debut album ‘Eye to Eye’, defining him as a trance music anthems producer. The album’s effect was followed in 2005 by the impressive entry to the world's top 100 DJs list of the famous Dj Magazine, where he took the respectful climb to the 18th position in 2007.
