The night was only just beginning, the start of something new and exciting was just around the corner. Buried in the blackness was a fresh beginning – a genesis of sorts. Soon they would all come to know this night as the moment in which it all changed, in which enemies became friends and bitterness ended.

The room was crowded with solitary dancers, full of people who had travelled to experience the rebirth first hand. As the music played loudly in the densely packed space it was remarkable to see the smiling faces of those who’d made the pilgrimage. They would be rewarded very soon.
 
Ed Hodge is set to release a four track EP via Gestalt Records – an EP which draws upon elements of tech and deep house paired with odd sensibilities which make the record a unique and distinctive offering. This track, ‘Genesis’, was the highlight for us but the rest of the record is just as strong.

The titular track, Pulse, sets the stage with mad frequencies and acid touches. Then the intensity grows with pads and you will find a perfect balance between the dancefloor appeal and a hypnotic listening transferring you into a trance state of mind.

Second track, Night Bass, is a deep, and deliriously cosmic ride with Heavy waves of synths and Acid lines. But guess what ? This magician put into this psychedelic magic potion some 80’s vocal samples of «Fell the drive ». Huge Combo !

Astroloop is a musical project created by Gabriele Lori, who has a long standing passion for different nuances of electronic music. 

He is particularly devoted to finding the right point  between the grooves and melodies,  with a  focus on the dancefloor  and keeping an open eye on electronic dreamy slow-dancey productions.

 It started in 2017 following on from different projects including radioshows and djing in clubs with the first vinyl release “Svegsy EP” on the legendary Jimpster’s Freerange Records. In 2020 he jumped  into Modular Project’s Nothing Is Real imprint with “Right Before EP”, Niv Ast’s Newdayeveryday and Curses’s Ombra International.
