Originally from Malaga but a Berlin resident for the past 13 years, Carlo is thrilled to unveil his first album released under his own record label, Bisiesto. This label stands out for its unique approach, releasing just one album every four years on leap day, February 29th.  In contrast to his previous style, this album blends all his musical influences into a unique mixtape of instrumentals. 
 
The inspiration emerged when, caught in the circumstances of the pandemic, Carlo immersed himself in creating a sonic landscape that captured the essence of his experiences. Amid those challenging months, he found solace in sharing the book "Where the Wild Things Are" with his son before bedtime. A nightly experience that turned into an emotional journey to the land of imagination, weaving the uncertainty of those days with the joy of fatherhood into a tapestry of sound. Featuring excerpts from classic animations The Fruitties, Dragon Ball, Captain Tsubasa, Sesame Street, He-Man, ThunderCats, Mazinger Z, and Wacky Races evoking childhood nostalgia and characters.
 
Reminiscent of Nightmares on Wax, Kid Loco, and Mushroom Jazz, this album offers a unique auditory experience. Lora Ute brings a hint of tangy mellowness to ‘Because’ balancing dreaminess with playful notes, while Jose Fernancaster, with his immaculate guitar skills, infuses ‘Todo Mal’ with sexy guitar riffs and wahs.  Intr0beatz's hip-hop touch enhances ‘Lemon Haze’, while Black Loops, a percussionist at heart, collaborates on ‘Midnight Cruiser’ to encapsulate the solitude of night-time city cruising with a lo-fi sound. Piek rounds off ‘Esperanza’ with an empowering bassline, tying the track together with a golden ribbon.

PREMIERE : CARLO - All I've Got To Say

C:Mone a.k.a Tuincy_Bright has been selecting records and playing versatile DJ sets in the Cologne music scene since 2007. Her musical range is rooted in early Hip-Hop Culture with strong ties to Jazz&Funk, R&B, Reggae, House & Disco.  Playing soulful DJ Sets suitable to different environments such as clubs, bars, concert openings and art galleries, she puts into practice what Kool and the Gang once said:   "Music is the Message that sings universal love for one and all." 
In January 2020 she started the party and mix tape series “Selectricity”  in collaboration with Giza -  a visual Artist & Illustrator based in Cologne. On the occasion of the Black History Month 2022 they collaborated with „Decolonize Cologne“, an initiative founded by three historians, enriching their work with a musical debate among Black DJ’s and Artists.  Since 2021 C:Mone is part of the cologne DJ Collective E.P.I.Q a bunch of eight female DJs based in Cologne joining forces to create magical events in at outside the city.  Since November 2022 C:Mone is playing a Radio Show „Listen, here…“ at Dublab DE. containing old & new favorite tracks based on the current mood to vibrate higher.

Ensemble Entendu (Photay and Sam O.B.) return with futurist library music for the dance floor and, in this case, yacht sound system. Azalea Chuva is the second single (after last year’s Time Is Certainly Passing) to be culled from the first of two EPs from the Brooklyn-based powerhouse due this year on Astro Nautico. A soft ‘80s synth palette interlocks with 3 over 4 percussion ostinatos in slowly building wonderment. Melodies played by two-octave synth leads sound like they’re made of plucked and whistle tones. By the time the triplets of kosmische-style drums roll through you’re already delightfully caught up in a mesmeric, summery haze. Grab some shade and a cool drink. Settle right in.
