So after a little break as The Rurals it was time to do a new album! This was a different Rurals album as it featured many vocalists. 
This song features Ladybird. We all know Ladybird from her classics 'Believe' (As Soldiers Of Twilight) and her collab' with LLorca 'My Precious Thing'. I actually hit her up on facebook years ago asking if she wanted to do a collab', she sent me a phoney email add (by mistake of course!!?)which i sent some songs to but i never heard back from her....Until 2010, when a friend of hers in Paris suggested she hit me up, and played her some of my music. I sent her a groove, which turned into the song 'Now And Then', she did as fab vocal for it!! I suggested she flew to Devon to stay and work on some new songs. I recently had moved to Dawlish, and was living right next to the sea(seeking peace after a mad crazy couple of years with my personal life), and it was the perfect place to compose music. She came and stayed and we made 3 songs for The Rurals album 'Ocean', this song was one of them. I made the music for this one, it's heavily influenced  by Larry Heard (as you can hear!) Ladybird did a beautiful soul vocal for it, and it fitted perfectly on the album.
