Hot on the heels of his 9-track OWSLA-released EP, To a New Earth, LA funkstepper Kill Paris aka Corey Baker has lent his impeccable production chops to a new single, Falling In Love Again. The track, Baker's take on a sensual R&B jam features vocals from Marty Rod and Alma and electro that boldly stands in defiance of the build-up-to-the-drop mentality of today's EDM world. The track is due out via OWSLA on July 9th, and is part of Kill Paris's upcoming Fall 2013 EP, also on OWSLA. Baker will also be playing OWSLA's Tomorrow World stage this coming September in Atlanta.

Where's trap music without UGK? A lot of today's EDM fanatics couldn't care less about the pairing of the late great Pimp C and his brother in beats Bun B... but MiM0SA does.

Armed with a harddrive stocked with sonic sketches, Tigran Mimosa set off for Houston determined to track down the remaining member of UGK, and craft what would become the lead single for Future Trill Vol 2, the successor to the original collection he introduced last year, forthcoming on his own False Idol Musik.

A nod to the Port Arthur, TX sound that gave rise to the trap music movement, this straight-ahead banger reinvigorates the old rap roots that have rusted into disrepair.

The man loves his history, and gives credit where credit is due, which is great sign not only for the album, not only for its producer, but also for the scene as a whole.

Respect your roots.

Disparate producers with complimentary sounds, Evil Needle and Sivey met in an online beat community 6 years ago and to this day have never met in real life. On June 24, 2014 they present their first official EP, 'Constructive Interference', to the world. 'Constructive Interference' was created over the span of 3 years and embodies the unique soundscapes of each producer.

Evil Needle, based in Strasbourg France [just on the border of Germany] pulls inspiration from traditional hip hop, neo-soul and trap music while seamlessly weaving in open synths and chunky chord progressions. Manchester, UK-based Sivey incorporates soulful beat-oriented music with what he calls "emotional highs and lows that are still musically stimulating" adding a beautifully uptempo sensibility.

The two come together to create a big sound vibration that is reminiscent of the round sound of vinyl – this time in a digital version.

Ayla was born in Australia. She is 18 years old and naturally talented. “Wish I Was” is her debut single. Her arrival in Europe starts with the encounter with some of the most important names of the club panorama. “Wish I Was”’ vocals are the matter to shape and transform.
There is Tapesh, the producer and resident at Ushuaïa, Ibiza, the one who joined the Ants’ colony. His style is unique: among the fans of the “Tapesh feeling” there are already Loco Dice, Jamie Jones, DJ T and Anja Schneider. Spada is the Italian who is driving everyone crazy, from Above & Beyond to The Magician. His “Feels Like Home (Red Velvet Dress)” is on every DJ’s mouth and is moving charts all over the world. And it goes together with a remix by Bakermat. Zwette, aka the rising star of deep and melodic house: does it ring a bell if we say Tom Odell “Another Love” – over 46 million views? Julius Abel is the super young Austrian producer (born in 1995!) who is getting the more and more famous in deep house panorama (go and look for his remix of Ornette, “Crazy”). We close the package with Heinrich Matis, a promising German producer based in Vienna. If you don’t know him yet, you won’t do without. “Wish I Was” is a step ahead release. And it’s pure class.
