Graviton is proud to present MECHANICAL LIFEFORM, deep ambient EP made by talented producer Tore Mortensen from Denmark. Tore production skills varies to several ranges, creating mostly positive music with warm feelings, with great groovy and optimistic sounds, he manages to create music with a unique touch, with uplifting moods. But his range follows also more downside paths with reflective and contemplative music. Since the early releases Tore has been faithfull to his unique style, but always pushing new boundaries and experimentations, and the result is the wide spectrum of styles since pure chillout, to more ambient tunes, from psychill passing through to even progressive music. Red Sun Rising aka Michał Niecikowski is back on Altar with an unique psychill EP, expertly crafted with traditional folk chants and hurdy gurdy sound by Olica aka Aleksandra Suchowiecka. 

Polish traditional music originates from pagan times and is characterized by a rural origin, from a simple people and a memory transmission. It refers to the old Slavic rituals and traditions associated with the annual nature cycle and the human life cycle. It connects to them organically. In this music, singing plays an important role, as well as an open, penetrating, intense and clear voice. People also used instruments such as violin, drums, hurdy-gurdy, flute and bass. In Polish archaic music, there are a lot of elements that can be found in contemporary, experimental and electronic music - repeatability, minimal formal means, return to a single sound, reference to the surrounding nature sounds and trance. 

This EP testifies to the fact that the history of music has come full circle and the old one perfectly complements the new ones !

Spiral Roots is a connection between organic sounds and mystical vibes. Roots connecting us with our home - Earth, spirals with higher dimensions, trough artists using elements of ancient music for channeling the songs that transcends time and fuses with highly intelligent electronic music production. It’s telling us a story that brings us closer to the reality of our ancestors and plant intelligence, as well as divine spark in all of creation. These squishy organic masterpieces put their listeners into a trance state of mind by combining the very best of ancient and contemporary. Amazing soundscapes of faraway lands, jungles and animals mixed with groovy beats, intelligent glitchy FX and lots of melodies that form bridge between “then” and “now”. Traveling through the hallucinatory layers of mystic and psychedelic organic dub sounds, this compilation brings us on a path of organic bridge created between the roots of the Earth and our existence

Astropilot is the alias of electronic musician Dmitry Redko. His music is hard to constrain to a single style, rather, it’s an eclectic blend that defies boundaries. Whether it is a chillout-ambient composition or a more dance-oriented track, Dmitry aims to “tell a story” with it.
