Microcosmos Records is pleased to announce the release of Resurgent Worlds, an album by EDD-989.

Resurgent Worlds is the fourth full album by Eduard Korkin, a.k.a. EDD-989, an electronic music producer from St.Petersburg, Russia.

Eduard experimented variously in electronic music genres, which led to making his first several chillout tracks in 2011, and it finally determined the main line in his music production. In 2018, Microcosmos Records released the debut album by EDD-989, which was particularly admired by fans of space chillout.

Resurgent Worlds is remarkable for its mild groovy mood, and top-notch sound design quality. The integrity of this music work merges from the skilful analog synthesis and the masterful sampling of acoustic percussions, as well as from many years of Eduard's experience rocking club and festival dance floors. The album has a distinguished dance pulse with a playful mellow mood, involving all features of a cosmic chillout. According to Eduard, the album is to bring the reflection about the cyclicity of the Universe, about distant planets with atmospheres full of "amrita", the elixir of life, the birth of new extraterrestrial civilizations.

We gathered together under the sun, wearing wildflowers in our hair. Smiling eyes meeting each other, we were at home amidst the birds and the trees.

We danced softly, gracefully, tenderly and wildly, crazily, weirdly, until the flowers fell out of our hair. We transformed everything from the inside out.

We demanded nothing, and judged no one, we didn't care what the others thought. 

We plunged into the moment, moved with it, witnessing a river of joy inside of us. We found freedom, happiness, our souls were radiating, shining.

As the dark took over we huddled closely, children of the universe, feeling golden, among the wildflowers...

'Singles, Remixes and Rarities' brings together a diverse collection of Astral Waves tracks from the 1990s to the early 2000s, a period widely considered as the golden age of Goa trance.

This compilation of rare material features a broad range of styles, from classic Goachill tracks to more experimental, boundary-pushing trancey sounds. Each track is a journey in itself, with soaring synth lines, thumping basslines, and mesmerizing rhythm patterns. 

The tracks included in this compilation are hand-selected and meticulously curated, and it's evident that a lot of care and attention has gone into selecting them. The sound quality is excellent even after more than two decades, and each track has been remastered to bring out the best in each one. The result is a seamless and cohesive listening experience that truly captures the spirit of the genre.

The tracks included in 'Singles, Remixes and Rarities' have been carefully selected, showcasing some of the most innovative and influential artist of the Goachill scene. From the euphoric, trance-inducing sounds of 'Reiyel' to the atmospheric and mesmerizing beats of 'We Breathe Air', there is something for every Goachill fan on this album.

Since the release of Rajasthan in Dub back in 2016 I dream to record music from different cultures around the world and share it both as folk music and electronic remixes.

Last year this dream became reality.

"Gig Sessions/Baithak in the farm" (Oct 17-21, 2022) was the second edition of Kamakhya Records private, by donation only, and not-for-profit music and art retreat. 
Artists on invitation travel to Assam in Northeast India, stay together, share knowledge and tips, collaborate, and make free-flowing music and art together on the fly, where the NOW is the inspiration. 
I had the honor to be invited and record nepali folk music with to Gandharva brothers.

Sharan Gandharva and Ramesh Gandharva from Kachankawal in the Jhapa district of Nepal travel miles on foot, taking public transport only to commute to the tourists' beloved Darjeeling town. Otherwise farmers from the fertile plains of Nepal, these talented folk musicians perform well-loved Nepali songs with their treasured companion, the beautiful Nepali Sarangi. Made of sturdy jackfruit wood, and polished with silk-smooth pine resin, this instrument bears the symbols and impressions of ancient string instruments that evolved over thousands of years across the Silk Route. Once the symbol of their idiosyncratic cultural and musical traditions, this music is now endangered and lost in the world of modern Nepali music. With stories involving simple village life, silk trades, and innocent love, their music takes one on a soulful journey. Breaking away from the regular, they come with music taught to them by their forefathers. Never burdened with existential struggle, they worship music as a way of life.

Kamakhya Records is a fairly new label from Northeast India. The label is not for profit and all monies make from their Bandcamp sales go to the Lynti Khasi School of Umsawwar – a small remote village of farmers & shepherds located in the state of Meghalaya, Northeast India- to help better its infrastructure and much more including funding the higher studies of the pass-outs of Lynti Khasi School. 
The Lynti Khasi School, with its bare basic facilities, is trying really hard not only to educate the children of Umsawwar but to also strike a balance between education & the centuries-old traditional livelihood of the community where the children help their parents in the daily chores of rearing and farming.

A Flooded Need is pleased to present ‘Flos Paradisi’, an album born from the efforts of international industrial legend Maurizio Bianchi and sound artist and composer Devid Ciampalini.

Conceived as a cross between a liturgical celebration and an investigation into the ideal of spiritual purity, the album is divided into two sides of exactly 17.17 minutes each, offering different variations on the central concept.

Side A is a a vast soundscape blossoming with bliss and absence: infinite dreamlike pads that surrender to an intense charge of grace and melancholy. Side B, on the other hand, reveals the sinful aspect of the flower, presenting itself as a conflictual and profound communication with the unknown, a deranged ballet of industrial drones, damaged metals and otherworldly voices typical of Maurizio Bianchi's early style.

Astropilot is the alias of electronic musician Dmitry Redko. His music is hard to constrain to a single style, rather, it’s an eclectic blend that defies boundaries. Whether it is a chillout-ambient composition or a more dance-oriented track, Dmitry aims to “tell a story” with it. Astropilot authored soundtracks for popular apps Solar Walk / Star Walk, which were downloaded over 10 million times.
