Frieder Nagel continues his new series with “Who Knows”, featuring Daniel Brandt — composer, drummer, and co-founder of the acclaimed trio Brandt Brauer Frick.

A dark, menacing track unfolds under severe rhythmic tension. Constantly building, its long elegiac melodies evolve and dissolve within majestic string arrangements and Nagel’s signature Moog textures. The single comes with two additional versions: a shorter, more condensed radio edit, and a beatless ambient version that highlights the piece’s meticulous sound design.

Jamaica meets Baltimore in this first in a series of collaborations between David Marston and Life on Planets, the LOP duo linked up with Marston after finding common ground in their music philosophy. Astropilot is the alias of electronic musician Dmitry Redko. His music is hard to constrain to a single style, rather, it’s an eclectic blend that defies boundaries. Whether it is a chillout-ambient composition or a more dance-oriented track, Dmitry aims to “tell a story” with it. Astropilot authored soundtracks for popular apps Solar Walk / Star Walk, which were downloaded over 10 million times.
