All we can tell you for sure is that this is not your big brothers dubstep. Yes it's 140 BPM, yes it has a drop or two, but this masterpiece by Mr. Bill and Virtual Riot creates something rare and amazing for the genre. A fork in the road that will inspire what is coming next.

For some reason Virtual Riots version and the version on Beatport is 5:30, but my version is 6:02. I'm not sure why...

"My Beautiful Hell" is the third single from 'Everest" - 
The Secret Sea's debut American release and 7th in total, 
recorded and mixed by Larry Crane at Jackpot! Studio in Portland.

If previous singles "Army Of Souls" and "Canada" opened a door 
to Amit Erez's thoughtful lyrics and imagery in the intimate confinement of his soft acoustic world, 
"My Beautiful Hell" takes us further and deeper to reveal a story. 

Steadily rolling forward in a lush full-band arrangement, this song is 
a journey of the protagonist through his past and present, 
reflecting on events that shaped his life as an artist and as a person with haunting imagery and metaphors. It is a lyrics song that pulls the listener into a hallucination, questioning the perception of home, happiness, and the endless chase after one's own calling. 

The song features guest musicians Gil Assayas (Glasys) on keys 
and former Elliott Smith's drummer Paul Pulvirenti (Eyelids).
