The local selection mix returns with a 3 deck hour of power as Dublin young gun Conor Reilly aka CON.R blends seamlessly through modern techno grooves with old-school loopy classics.

Conor began playing in clubs in early 2019, and has gone on to share line ups with international artists such as JKS, Mayeul, Airod and KRTM. During lockdown Conor earned a radio residency at Phever, where he presents his show ‘Beats & Bleeps’ bi-weekly.

The mix features music from CRAVO, Chris McCormack, UMEK, Steve Rachmad, Kaiser, Sev Dah, Rove Ranger and more.

This mix is an absolute master class from the Dublin young gun and we look forwards to hearing more from CON.R in the future.

To kickstart the series, we have an hour from Will Catlin. This live mix was recorded at the launch of his techno outfit, Birdsong at Meraki in Liverpool (08/01/2022). The mix portrays all aspects of his style, encompassing both old and new groove with harder, euphoric tracks. 

Will featured on our FWP Series just over a year ago and we are so happy to invite him onto the FWL and witness his rise across the North West. The next Birdsong event is set to be an unmissable 10 hour display of techno, day through to night, featuring three well renowned headliners and a specially selected group of rising local talents.

Having featured across events within the City, Stanz Amor is an artist quickly gaining a reputation in Manchester for both producing and selecting masterful 90's inspired techno.

With heavy inspiration taken from the 90's, Stanz dons a unique flavour of samba beats and slamming rhythm with an old-school choppy mixing style which has seen him play alongside the likes of French DJ, Bours? and having his productions supported from Legendary North West selectors such as Cleric, and Kander.

Prospekt Podcast 061: JON10 [Izotope]

Jon10, founder and resident of Limerick based, Irish collective Izøtope burst onto the Irish electronic scene early in the year of 2020. Jon10 is proving to be an interdisciplinary artist who is not afraid to branch out beyond the trope of promoting and running a label.

His style of mixing and producing is derived from 90s/early 2000s techno, which is evident in the sharp cuts and thundering grooves found both in his music and sets.

Jon10s’ debut release “StrictlyAnalogue” dropped on the izotope imprint in 2021. His music has appeared on world famous platforms such as HÖR BERLIN and received support from various renowned artists within the industry. 

This year, 2022 is looking to be a bright year for the young promoter/Dj having locked in dates with some of the country's best club nights and Irish festivals.

Another month of proper techno as Josh Reeves & Infiltrator step up the plate, bringing infectious techno grooves.

Manchester's Josh Reeves spun his classic minimal and funky sound, displaying just why he's one of Manchester's hottest techno act's right now. Constant rhythm and movement, with lovely textures and atmospheres. 

Infiltrator provides an a no nonsense hour of peak-time bangers in the second, mixing old-school flavours with modern grooves. Infiltrator keeps the right amount of banging while also laying down some deeper and dubby cuts. This is just how I like my techno, tough, funky and deep.
