After previous appearances on Dance Petrol Records, Jonas Gottlieb joins forces with Niko Marksteiner for Munichs grooviest footwork club: Funk SV! Sharing their love for uptempo beats that just hit the spot of hard hitting beats and pure groove, the two vinyl warriors join the German imprint with their latest EP ‚First Funk! For the first half of their match of funk and techno, „Love From the Hood“ is sent into play, going strong with a ground shaking bass, funky drums, syncopated dance stabs and catchy vocals! Closing the first half, „Take That Time“ continues in similar fashion, setting focus on vocals to score the second goal of the match. After the half time break „Here We Go“ returns in full force after some pep-talk in the locker room getting even deeper for some solid defense.
