‘Play’ is Bombay-based musician Mali’s first single of 2018.

‘Play’ takes the country-tinged pop-rock of her 2017 debut EP Rush, and strips it to its sparse songwriting essence - her voice, tone and storytelling. The song is addressed to her beloved grandfather, and is wrought with subtle and heartfelt emotion.
