Aphantasia y Gulag son dos DJ y productores que a pesar de llevar su carrera por separado encuentran una sinergia perfecta a la hora de unirse en la cabinas.

Comienzan sus andadas juntos en el mundo de las mezclas en fiestas privadas donde comenzarán a enriquecerse llevándolos a tener shows en diversas salas de Granada como son Club Vinilo o Planta Baja en fiestas de colectivos como Grakken, Haus of Speed y The Blacklist de El Hueco.

Lo que destaca de ellos es su estética oscura y agresiva, moviéndose en géneros como el hard techno y el industrial actual con dosis infernales de altos BPM, todo ello envuelto en capas de atmosferas oscuras y envolventes con un sonido sucio y punk. 

Este set que nos han preparado es un claro ejemplo de lo que Aphantasia y Gulag quieren transmitir, líneas de bajos saturadas, atmosferas oscuras propias del techno industrial crudo con melodías propias de géneros como el acid techno y pads etéreos, cargadas de samples vocales que te llevan a un universo distópico.

Japaus passion for techno flared up in 2013 when he accidentally ended up at a techno party in Berlin's famous "Arena Club". He was immediately infected and since then, techno has been an integral part of his life and he can no longer imagine life without it. His fascination with DJing reached its peak after countless nights of partying, when Japau bought his first own controller - a Pioneer DDJ-400 in 2019.

This week’s entry to the Local Selection Mix comes from Dublin-based industrial powerhouse, 3.2KM. With his foot firmly on the throttle throughout, the hard techno boss delivers an unrelenting hour mix that leans into dark and haunting atmospheres.

Dublin-based 3.2KM has become synonymous with a new wave of Irish hard techno & industrial producers. The young DJ and producer has been immersed in warehouse-style techno since he started his producing adventure in 2022, becoming a master at creating mechanical and cinematic industrial soundscapes.

In the time after, 3.2KM gained a reputation for his distinctive sound, which he consistently presented to his audience through his mixes. An aggressive, strong, and sinister road is what he intends to take his audience on. Since breaking into the scene, he has played across Europe and shared the stage with numerous influential figures who have shaped his career and personal philosophy.

Industrial screeches, warped rhythms, and rough textures are on show for the Dubliner’s debut on the Local Selection Mix. 3.2KM creates dramatic tension through dark and murky atmospheres while layering high-octane rhythms, creating an aggressively immersive trip through the trenches.
