Rising from Israel’s hotbed of talent, Maydan is an artist with an impressive story to tell. From bedroom noodling to highly-regarded resident DJ, the Israeli native has carved out a niche of sizeable proportions as he cements his position on the global dance scene. Since joining the Assymetric roster in 2015, he has also signed to an incredible array of imprints including Hernan Cattaneo’s Sudbeat and Kaspersky’s Dear Deer, the future is definitely bright for the talented young artist.

Opening with ‘Evolving’, it starts with galloping percussions and vocal adlibs set to stun. Picking up the pace in the mid section with clever sonics and a tough bass, the break is a real oasis of sound that brings with it a sense of bliss and calm. Then the beat drops and your hands almost magically reach for the lazers! Solid work from the Tel Aviv producer. Next, ‘Locked State’, powerful drums and insistent sonics draw you in immediately.
