Two successful electronic music producers, LO:UX from Germany and Cordes Martin from Mexico, come together in an EP consisting of two tracks in the genre of Melodic House and Techno. The two artists have collaborated on a magnificent EP project, combining their skills. This EP consists of two tracks, offering listeners a dark atmosphere while delivering an energetic experience.

The first track, "Vacia," grabs attention with its intense and captivating start. Despite its dark undertones, this track evokes a lively sensation due to its dynamic rhythm. LO:UX and Cordes Martin shape the track with a delicate balance, providing a hypnotic musical journey. Vacia allows listeners to immerse themselves in an engaging atmosphere while offering an energetic dance experience.

The second track focuses more on a House music rhythm and has a distinct vibe. LO:UX and Cordes Martin draw listeners to the dance floor using warmer and flowing melodies. Rhythmic beats, rich instrumentation, and deep bass lines wonderfully complement the track. In contrast to Vacia, the second track generates a livelier and more energetic feeling, propelling listeners to move their bodies fully.

3 QUESTIONS to BAAL:

Q: Both of you guys are called Matthias. So which Matthias is doing which part of BAAL?

A: Yes this leads to a lot of misunderstandings! Haha, but mostly one Matthias is taking care of all the technical stuff and the other more about the design of the sound itself. 

Q: BAAL is hebrew for lord. Which lord (of music) are you guys following?

A: Basically most important is, that the lord gives us some emotion in the song. We shape a specific sound with BAAL for sure but we are very open to whom we pray. Also a lot of influences are good for inspiration. Sometimes we challenge ourselves in our productions with a sound we would never use ad hoc to see where it leads us to unseen hidden places of our music.

Q: Which fresh and hot BAAL projects are on the way?

A: We are currently working on a remix for Kid Simius and a new EP will be out (hopefully before) this summer!

Andre debut on project13 introducing Agony EP . This is the third reference of label. Opening the EP is the self titled Agony .A Dark and energetic melodic techno filled with a powerful arp and dark textures. After Agony, Shadows & Shambler complete the original mix of this EP. two dark melodic tracks with some progressive’s touch.
The Aree Remix of Shambler concludes the EP, an Uplifting techno bomb with catchy melodies.

Andre Texias developed his passion for music at a very young age. Born and raised in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, he began to study and experiment with music when he was a teenager.

It is not until 2016 that he starts developing ideas and creating original tracks, always keeping the dark atmosphere in each production.

On 2017, Andre release his first track, “lonely”. this track receive the support of names like hot since 82, who play it in her radio show “the labyrinth show” on ibiza global radio.

Always dark, raw and tireless in his creative process, Andre continues to working on new tracks, creating melodic soundscapes and raw drums.
