Rainer K returns to Hyper Reality Records with a bang! The Estonian producer's "Oldschool EP" features 3 brand-new original tracks exploring the classic sounds of Hard Trance.

Static kicks things off with a driving intensity, featuring massive bottom end and detuned synth stabs layered with just enough distorted acid to get things moving. When the synth stabs begin their simple melody, the whole track is charged with enough energy to blow the lid off of any dancefloor!

Battlefield continues on the same wavelength as Static, this time bringing more percussive synths to the intro, and some familiar vocal hooks throughout.

Mind Twister (Back in Time) digs a little deeper into the past, influenced by the sounds of the 90s, but combined with modern production techniques. The result is a lush and detailed soundscape that builds into an energetic frenzy, somehow feeling both familiar and utterly unique at the same time!

Born in Brighton, bred in London and now moving between Berlin and Ibiza, BEC has an omnivorous approach to electronic music that shows up in her productions; Techno with a twist. Her seventh outing on home label Second State continues in this vein as she balances hypnotic, driving elements with atypical flourishes. 

“Lost In Change”, which gives the EP its name, layers a pounding kick with a bloodless, repeated vocal before a juddering synth launches the track into another gear. “Flux” pairs a springy bass line with siren FX to pleasantly weird effect, followed by the more intense “State Of Flow”, a euphoric collision of ravey synths and gurgling acid lines. “Holocene”, meanwhile, hinges on an impatient groove textured with whipping 808s. It conjures the delicious abandon of parking your worries at the door as you give in to the primal pleasures of the dance floor. 

BEC has been an international touring DJ for the past five years, playing everywhere from Berlin’s Watergate to Australia’s Rainbow Serpent Festival and from London’s Egg to Nevada’s Burning Man Festival. Lost In Change is sure to advance the ascent of one of Techno’s most promising young stars.

A*S*Y*S aka Frank Ellrich has been a frequent player on the global scene since 2000. His revolutionary studio productions, ranging from dark acid odysseys to driving hard funky floor fillers continue to set dance floors ablaze the world over! He has also performed at some of the most prolific music festivals and events in the world. From Time Warp to Mysteryland, and EDC to Tomorrowland, he has covered more than 20 countries across five continents. His music shares a vision for the techno progressive, and harder genres, which is equal parts euphoric and energetic whilst laced with his signature pounding groove and acid undertones.
