With over a decade of experience behind the decks, Volpe has become a respected figure in the Electronic music scene. His musical journey has taken him from the vibrant scene of Buenos Aires to the pulsating heart of Berlin.
His productions on esteemed labels like Frenzy, Sungate, and Mitsubasa explore sub-genres such as Dub, Detroit, Deep, Tribal, and Hardgroove, delivering a harmonious blend of energy and emotion.
Volpe's artistic roots are steeped in the rich traditions of Jazz, imbued with its complex chord structures and harmonization, steeped in Dub Reggae textures full of echo and reverb, and also deeply rooted in the rhythmic pulse of Afrobeat and Funk. He views himself as a synthesis of his musical influences and inspirations.

Nicola Virnicchi is a disc jockey and producer born in Southern Italy in 1981. At the age of 13 he started to play his music in different small clubs in Campania until his debut in the most exclusive one; "The East Side”. Because of his unique underground style he became a resident DJ at the Alibi and soon after at the Qube in Rome.

In recent years he played on many consoles on the Adriatic coast (Prince of Riccione, in collaboration with Pacha Ibiza), in Salento (Parco Gondar) and finally he joined one of the most important international electronic festivals in South of Italy, known as
FLUSSI with his music.

In 2011 he co-founded the Party Label Dislike in Italy’s underground club scene where he collaborated with many international DJ’s.
In 2013 he created the live techno project Subion with Pier Giuseppe Mariconda and released Eliogabalo, a vinyl labeled by BLACKWATER, which quickly got resonance and success in the techno environment.

After a creative break with a lot of traveling, music research and festivals I’m back with new inspiration and creativity to provide you straight, uncompressing Techno music.

Presentamos nuestra sesión #9 a cargo de @gaston-volpe un artista argentino con más de 10 años de experiencia detrás de la cabina.

Inspirado por los sonidos de los 90, sus versátiles sets mezclan géneros como Dub, Detroit y Hypnotic Techno, combinados con su tempo rápido y groove continuo, que crean una atmósfera perfecta para la pista de baile.

Ha estado a la vanguardia de la escena electrónica underground en Buenos Aires, siendo residente en varias fiestas durante muchos años, que lo han llevado a presentarse en los mejores clubs de Techno del país, compartiendo eventos con artistas como Tadeo, Jonas Kopp, Seph y Andres Zacco.

Logró editar varias de sus producciones en sellos como Subsist, Detox Electronics, Solemne Records y Al3 Movement, y gracias a su continuo esfuerzo fue apoyado por artistas como Ben Sims, Jeroen Search, Zenker Brothers, Slam, Tripeo, Laurent Garnier, Subradeon, Jon Hester y muchos otros.

Está evolucionando sus habilidades de producción mientras se concentra en su Live Act, en el que elige el formato hardware, aportando un sonido orgánico y potente a su interpretación.
