Since debuting in the DJ Mag Top 100 DJ Poll at #74 just a few weeks ago, Dannic has taken this motivation and ploughed it into some heavy duty studio sessions and one of the first projects to come out of these session is his shining new remix of Armin van Buuren’s ‘Intense’. This release, which is out now and is the follow up to his previous remix work for The Wanted that dropped in September, bares all the trademarks of Dannic’s distinctive studio treatment. 
Warm chords and driving percussion meld together to create a bittersweet harmony set to remain firmly embedded into the listeners’ consciousness. This creates juxtaposition with the epic drop that is set to quicken heart beats and raise the intensity levels of any party. Dannic’s individual style is laced throughout the remix from the stuttering, glitch inspired hook to the hands in the air breakdown and judging from early feedback looks destined to join his other recent releases into the upper reaches of the Beatport chart.
Out now on the renowned Armada imprint, the iTunes version includes the edit of Dannic's remix where as the Beatport bundle has the exclusive extended version included in the package, making up part of the remix album for intense. Released in time for his upcoming US Tour, which takes in dates across the country including headline shows at Miami’s ‘Liv’ and Las Vegas’ ‘The Light Club’, Dannic has managed to added yet another killer track to his already overflowing arsenal of hits, and with a host of prestigious shows worldwide Dannic is quickly surpassing the accolades which have only just been bestowed on him.
Not surprising given his previous release ‘Blueprint’ scored Dannic his first Beatport #1. A collaboration with fellow Dutch stars ‘Sick Individuals’, the track has been picked up on by fans and having found its way into the sets of every discernible DJ within the scene and is another solid reminder of the highly gifted and studio wizardry of this young star from Breda..

Maya's words has always had effect on my life since discovering her work as a young teenager and "Phenomenal Woman" has always been my favourite, reminding me of all the great women in my life...mainly my mother :)

Always thought her words over Fela's music was a perfect match. Hope what I put together honors her memory
