Disco Volante
More than boom-boom bass and outdated lasers: Disco Volante, the collaboration between Critical Mass (Dani Honor) and Risky Business (Alex Inggs) makes high energy, yet simultaneously melodic Psy – clean, luminous tracks for the twilight hours. “I was over Hi-Tech nighttime music and wanted to go back to my roots ... melodic vibes,” says Honor of the collab. “I enjoy the more minimal sounds where I can add more attention to detail ... When I spoke with Alex, I felt so inspired and we get along like we had been brothers for 20 years!” With a debut EP (Time Crisis) on Nexus Media and a stack of Singles releases on both local and international labels, Disco Volante is a high-flying act and a regular on South African Psy party set lists. The two brains behind the outfit share a mutual love for beatific, banging beats; live dial twisting; and tequila. “The name Disco Volante translates to ‘Flying Disk’ or ‘Flying Saucer’ from Spanish and Italian,” says Alex of the duo’s moniker. “I thought the name was aptly suited to the Psytrance scene – a kind of contemporary disco spinning for the next generation.”

Disco Volante’s highly anticipated second EP is due for release on Psy.ology Records in the not so distant future...

In Focus this time is SONOCHROME. This live set is a sonic voyage through Sonochrome's original productions, weaving together recent releases, exclusive collaborations, and selections from his latest EP, Fractal Arsenal. Designed as a high-energy, immersive experience, the mix explores layered psychedelia, driving rhythms, and narrative transitions. Crafted with love for Radiozora and all trance lovers across the planet. SONOCHROME is the latest evolution of Portuguese producer Daniel Peso. With over a decade immersed in the global psychedelic scene, Daniel has performed across countless dancefloors, released multiple tracks and EPs, and honed his craft as both a live act and studio producer since the early 2010s. Launched in 2022, Sonochrome represents a refined sonic vision, fusing deep psychedelic storytelling with massive grooves, epic atmospheres, and flashes of Goa trance influence. The result is an immersive, high-impact sound built for both introspection and peak-time dancefloor moments. With releases on respected labels such as Dacru Records and Audio Unit Records, Sonochrome is quickly establishing a signature that’s bold, detailed, and emotionally resonant. Whether in the studio or on stage, Sonochrome pushes the boundaries of psychedelic trance with intention, depth, and a commitment to sonic evolution.

Michael Schnebly is an Applied Physics PhD student at Harvard University, where he studies the mechanics of proteins. He is also the creator of Stepwise (@stepwise.xyz), an experimental artist project using body-tracking technology to build new musical instruments and ways of performing. His work bridges scientific research, live performance, and social experimentation.  Michael is one of the co-creators of “Calibration,” a new collaborative research-performance series alongside neuroscientist Landry Bulls and electronic music artist Supertask. Calibration is a scientific study of group synchrony, embodiment, and the neural basis of musical experience through body-tracking in live concert crowds. It launches at Cervantes’ Other Side in Denver this summer.     Landry Bulls is a PhD student in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at Dartmouth College. As part of the Social Computation, Representation, and Prediction (SCRAP) Lab working with Dr. Mark Thornton, he uses computational methods to study social signaling of human groups and crowds.&nbsp;    For the people who love to experience music, look no further than Supertask. With deep roots in hip-hop and a focus towards immersion, Supertask creates sonic landscapes that dance between the intensity and stillness of the human consciousness. His offerings of musical escapism are consumed by the concept of infinity, and with a background in IT, Supertask often utilizes code and programming in his artistic vision. A vision that his loyal community, the Dev Team, are directly involved in. Blending both analog and digital sound design, his unique approach has proven to be a driving force in the forward progression of electronic music. Through soundscapes that feel sentient, interactive live streams, and mind-bending visuals, Supertask is changing the way that we consume art.
