Contra La Corriente

Zut: apart from the French mild expletive (Heck!)...I recently discovered the fictional game 'Zut' as described in an Amor Towles novel 'A Gentleman in Moscow'. This has two characters competing by describing variations of an agreed theme until one runs out of ideas. 
I had a similar feeling when producing this track (as I often do) - I loved the main riff but wanted to make variations in harmony and accompaniment. Eventually I had to give up (zut!).. but happily settled on those presented.

Here, no samples, no tricks, a colossal work to make these 7 tracks which required more than 121 hours of work and recording.
I assembled them in one track and markers are integrated to follow the progress of the tracks.

Ici, pas de samples, pas d'artifices, un travail colossal pour réaliser ces 7 titres qui ont nécessité plus de 121 heures de travail et d'enregistrement.
Je les ai assemblés en un seul morceau et des marqueurs sont intégrés pour suivre la progression des morceaux.

Autosave-V is the work on several titles following a certain number of days, months,years. Research work on possible music, entirely realized with three keyboards of Moog and other modulars plus some percussions also realized with modulars. Multi-track recording and mixing with sound processing. Some tracks are old and others very recent. I wish you joyful listening and discovery of a music sometimes far from a rigorous classicism, slightly different, even experimental.

“...Divine Ritual is an transdisciplinary project that moves between the dimensions of performance art and live creation. The experimental landscape is primarily constituted by the relationship between performers and spectators, within a creative path aimed at generating a ritual. The spectator, with their presence, will be a founding part of the creative design of the ritual itself. The ritual, which draws on the essential elements of Greek mythology, particularly the myth of Persephone and the Eleusinian Mysteries, is the archetypal experience in which sound and body are fused together, energy and matter converge in a single language, and full immersion between the terrestrial world and the cosmos is achieved. In an experimental process, the manipulation of electronic music sound will rhythmically punctuate the various moments, reaching a peak of tension and sonic pressure, determining the foundations of the ritual action, serving as a moment of ablution and then of expressive effusion for the performers, exploring the possibility of alerting the body enveloped in an uninterrupted sonic envelope and exposed to a collective vibration in which it is impossible to perceive a separation between performers and spectators. From listening to this inspiration, and guided by intuition and perception, the performers will linger in an empirical area with the sole support of three dramaturgical keys: DESCENT, SEARCH, ASCENT (as in the diachronic sequence of the Eleusinian Mysteries). This dramaturgical fabric serves as a generative principle: the architecture of the event will be articulated in an open itinerary of meta-spatio-temporal experiment...”
