DJ Houston began his journey in late 2015, when he acquired both the skillset and his first equipment setup mainly comprised of a DDJ-SX2. Initially playing small private parties, while gradually scaling to bigger events such as weddings, quinceañeras, holiday events and in parallel improving his talents which led to his first set of residencies starting with Guava Lamp. During his 10 month residency there, he specialized on deep house and top 40 remixes, as well as expand his music repertoire and bring his talents to CD-J equipment. Around late 2017; with 3 ongoing residencies at JR's Bar & Grill, Crocker Bar and Live Sports Bar & Grill, he continued to diversify his music incorporating other genres to his mix including House, Latin, Hip-Hop, 70's, 80's, Reggae and Dance hall music, and gaining experience on handling events like fashion shows and drag shows all leading up to his nomination as Favorite Male DJ in OUTSmart magazine in 2018. In this present year, DJ Houston has expanded his range to upscale corporate events for restaurants like Nobu Houston and Akashi Sushi, as well as being part of international events such as RAW Artists Houston and the USA Vs Chile Soccer Game, concurrently expanding his audience by means of his podcast "Houston Heat”. What ensues his developing career includes headlining the PRIDE Galveston event, continue to improve and reach a bigger audience with his podcast as well as his budding talents on music production.
