Canadian artist Spinman Finn's HavaVery greWVee Christmas, has you covered. With a really nice laid back fusion of Blues, Funk, Hip-Hop, & Psychedelic Rock, that recalls classic fusion and sampler happy rock artists like Beck and Fun Lovin' Criminals, this track is a nice hypnotic throwback to a time when pop music was more experimental. The lyrics are a hilariously simple call for a new drum kit for Christmas. The track hazily rolls along without ever meandering, keeping the listener interested throughout the entire song. The backing Gospel vocals are a really nice and classy touch, and the choice of samples works really well with the overall Christmas vibe of the song. All aboard, the greWVee train!


Strongest Point(s): 
A very pleasing variety of textures. As mentioned above, the song never meanders and continuously introduces new sonic elements, all of which are engaging and create a fun listening experience. Also, it's great that I can't tell what is a real instrument, and what is being sampled. That shows really strong mixing.


Target Audience Appeal: 
Fans of jam bands, Alternative Hip-Hop, Psych Rock, Funk and Stoner Rock would totally dig this track. Definitely try and appeal to the 90's Alternative/Funk/Ska revival fans. This is right up there alley too. Fun, non-obnoxious Christmas songs are rare, so it's always good to find more of them and a lot of people appreciate coming across unique holiday songs. Anyone into more experimental pop would probably at the very least appreciate the originality and laid back nature of this song.
