The new single has been in the works for quite some time, and although the events that inspired it are now a thing of the past, the theme itself is timeless. People who gain power often abuse it, and the average person, the patient, hard-working, ordinary man, after a while can’t take it any longer and raises his voice, getting louder and louder, until he finally takes up arms and brings justice to himself. This has happened many times in history, and human nature is unfortunately so predictable that we can say with certainty that there will be more of this in the future.



The events in the US in the first half of 2020, the chaos, the protests, the increased police brutality, the whole situation has been deeply disturbing for me. Leaders who, instead of facing up to the problems and trying to find solutions, have been unscrupulous in lying, trying to shift all the blame and silence the peaceful protesters, on the streets with tear gas and rubber bullets. It all seemed so surreal in the 21st century. It occurred to me that it was like something that happened in the Middle Ages when the rich could do anything and nobody held them accountable because they had enough wealth to be above the law.

And so the song They come for you was born, at once telling a story from the dark ages, yet using radio messages from today’s world.

There are times in everyone’s life when everything seems to go in the wrong direction,   and you find yourself wondering "Why everything is going wrong at the same time?". "All those years" is a song about starting over. So now I have a "Him" song, and a "Her" song, from two different points of view ? I just can't sing like a guy-but my morning ALTO is pretty close, yes ? I never sing in the morning! Love to hear this sung three different ways even as a blues song! Who knows-maybe someday!

In the children's  musical, "Honey", the main character is taken on a visitation to the Baby Jesus, by a BEAUTIFUL SPIRIT whose name happens to be , "Christmas Eve", (unlike the spirits depicted  in Uncle Scrooge's saga!) I didn't quite like the reference to the "Angry Heart", but I'd read in the Bible a passage about that concept, and thought I'd include it for the ADULTS in the musical---Even in the Angry Heart, HIS love is "crying out" give us serenity, and peace."
This coordinates with the song "The Valley of the Shadow of Death", too, and it's not scary, either! Have to get back to church to finish this musical! (LyndaFayeSmusic@gmail.com) still seeking some spiritually endowed collaborators.

This is a song sung by the children, I call it "Childrenized" versions of adult songs; From "Honey Visits With Christmas Eve", "With" as views tend to think it's a "Christmas " song, and it is not. "The Lord is my Shepherd" Childrens Gospel from "Honey Visits With Christmas Even"

Cecilia came to my song title "Her", (Sometimes I Think of Her) and her comment encouraged me so much on that song, that I pulled this one out of the archives-as it's a "Sort of Talk-Sing-Song" too!  Back in the days when Jim Varney and his "Agent" (were headed for their initial visit to the 
William Morris Agency ) and pulled up into my  driveway with that big old Chrysler, it was Joe Liles's favorite song, and he kept asking me to sing it for his friends! It has a special meaning to me, because Joe and I were engaged for several years. He used to get up at 4 A.M to drive over to North Hollywood, from my house in Simi Valley, to get Jim on the set of "Operation Petticoat", and we made several trips to the Laff Stop and the Comedy Store in my old Dodge Dart, because it used less gas! I was astounded to see that Joe had passed away; and knew prior to that about Jim's passing-that must have been tough on him-He was a real Gentleman and a Scholar. His obituary said he'd been a private investigator-but I knew he'd worked at a whole lot more than just that! He advised me that when he was an insurance salesman years ago, to "always look for what is NOT there, to find the facts", and I'd say, "OH, like in Jazz and Rhythm and Blues, the RESTS "allow" the messages to get across! He'd say "Yep"...Jim and I always argued about "who lives longer, writers or performers ?"  And one of our major topics of conversation was, "Do writers LIVE to write, or do they WRITE to LIVE? haven't answered that one yet, but it appears that performers who struggle as Jim did , to get his message out, might have lost the debate about "performers versus writers ?"  Well, WE live on, but I sure miss those guys---RIP---Both of 'em!!  Cecelia, this one's for you, now! Thanks again!

"Until" (Until it's time for me to go) I call these "Talk-Songs" Lynda's solo with Harmony)

I apologize to both Elvis and Roberta Flack (in advance) on their so "wel-recorded"versions of these beautiful lyrics. But both of their recordings seemed to have a sort-of "hold back" on "expression" that they are normally so exquisite with. The melodies were distorted in both-that would have been OK, but I'd think the composer would have been a bit offended. Roberta's "The First Time , Ever I Saw Your Face" was so well-performed-Why "Hold back" , and "reconstruct" a song that was so beautiful as this one ? It's as if their producers were FORCING them to sing the song-That, perhaps they didn't even LIKE what they were told to sing! Listen to them very carefully, and see if you don't "Hear" the unnatural abnormal deliveries of the voice; Of course the backups were all superb. And Buffy ? Well she obviously "loved" the song, loved her lyrics immensely,  and gave it her best.Thanks to all of the great compliments, but I KNOW now, the guitar wasn't quite in tune-Surprised I got through it at all, had a bad sore throat and cough too (Think they call it the flu!) a recent recording, but I wanted it on SoundCloud, because I only recently found out that Joe Liles had passed away, and this was his favorite song-his friends too. Popped the P on "Promise forever" sorry! I'll try to rerecord it in a couple weeks!

This is the second movement of a very personal composition.
Ideas and themes 1979, written down in January 2019.
Substantially I used 2 themes which I found as a teenager. I hesitated to use it. But while at work it was interesting to remember that time. This time the form became not complex.

Athmoss (Imre Meszaros) is an East European rock singer-songwriter. He was born in Transylvania, Romania, or what he describes as “…the magical spirit of that ancient land is a part of his soul”. Athmoss started to learn music at the age of 5, at first accordion, then later switching to piano and synth. His music career began in 1997, with his first album “Én a Hentes vagyok!”, followed by another two albums during the next three years: “Egyedül” and “Mindig fáj”.
He mixes and produces his own music in a variety of genres, that goes from classical to rock and electronic music. He also spent some years working as a Radio DJ as well as in the visual media audio post-production sector. Since 2013 he lives with his wife and his two daughters in Frankfurt, Germany, and collaborates with many artists from all over the world.
