Drip Drop / Harmonia Records /FM Bookings

Behind the name, Drip Drop is   Michail Chavales, born in Athens Greece. Michael’s interest in electronic music started in the early 90s. He slowly started producing music in 2005 while he studied sound engineering in SAE Institute and in 2009 he joined Harmonia rec family and made his first release under the Ridden project. While performing at events around the world the idea of Drip Drop was born and immediately Michael started to work on this new project. In 2014 the  Drip Drop Album was released from Harmonia, becoming a success on most of the dance-floors worldwide. Since then, Drip Drop participated in some of the biggest festivals around the world and while releasing multiple tracks for VA’s and compilations. In 2019 Michael is presenting a new adventure  “Drip Drop in Lost City”, his second full album under the Drip Drop name is coming soon from Harmonia Records. The Hadra association was founded in Grenoble in 2001 by a group of fans of electronic music and in particular psychedelic trance. Etymologically, the “hadra” designates, in Arabic, the collective trance as it is practiced during the ceremonies of Moroccan religious brotherhoods, in particular the Issawas.

The association began from its creation to organize “psytrance parties” that gathered 300 to 400 people in the Grenoble region, in an adapted and legal framework, to allow access for all to a culture still too little known and also the meeting and exchange between the public and the local and international artists invited for the occasion.
 
In 2005, the Hadra Trance Festival was born: a unique event in terms of its organization, the values it defends, but above all by its eclectic and multidisciplinary program that mixes musicians, video artists, visual artists and performers.
 
Over the years, the festival has become the biggest celebration of Trance culture in France and is now recognized as a reference in Europe and around the world. Over the years, the festival has conquered the hearts of the ever-growing number of festival-goers.  The Hadra Trance Festival is one of the rare big international psytrance festivals to be non-profit-making: all the festival’s proceeds are reinvested in the associative project.

This story like many before started with the influence of sound.
Our purpose is to evolve the human consciousness to  an awakening frame of mind, expanding the neuro network in turn to create unique harmonics to the listener’s ears.
For us it began a few years ago while attending psychedelic electronic festivals, back then it was centered around music on mainstream trance sounds, generic templates plus annoying build ups to nowhere, for this it was obvious that it was time for a transformation.
So began the journey of like-minded sound producers who got together and collaborated an alternate perspective, this  potential is to bring about a dynamic sound design and spread a message that music has a true essence to explore conscious awareness, while to bring back the essence of psychedelic to a dance floor near you.
How the community started?.
In 2004 this dynamic emerged in creating a new underground label.
Founded by Dark Whisper, the tribe ‘Alice-D’ was officially born.
The mission was to create a deep impact with rolling bass lines in synergy with multidimensional sound-scape, that would influence the psyche within a community and bring about a healing “spiritual” transition to them.
Frequencies are designed and edited by the musicians involved with the Alice-D crew.
Numberless sound experiments have followed, while skills improved, the Alice-D community are ready to transform the dance floors with a psychedelic experience.
Though, like many ideas the beginning was a challenge, but this only made the community much more persistent.
We have attended numerous gatherings to encourage and create an awareness of alternative cerebral psychedelic sounds.
This has led to a major breakthrough and a better understanding from the community to further elevate these ideas and experience a new style of music.
What does it sound like?.
The distinctive sounds of Alice-D we feel is a mystical journey more tuned to a surreal experience, while dancing, meditating or expressing the power of selfless.
Every style is prismatic however, the real purpose is to let the wanderlust experience to find a true ritual of a gathering ceremony with a positive out put and learning experience.
A higher level of collective conscience thereby creating an intelligent being to bring dance  to the harmonical core!
