Sangoma Records proudly presents the debut album of Archetypes, a collaboration project of Miguel (N3xu5) and Till (Daksinamurti) out of Portugal and Germany, both friends and Psytrance veterans since the early 2000s with colorful solo carriers.

Their project name is based on a concept from psychology that refers to a universal, inherited idea, pattern of thought, or image present in all human beings' collective unconscious. The release includes collaboration tracks with Yebah, Codex Spiralis, and Egon’s Embrace, crystal clear mastering by Scorb, and artwork by the incredible visionary Japanese artist Yui Sakamoto (R.I.P).

Musically they combine their influences, ranging from deep hypnotic trance-inducing music to psychedelic euphoria, integrating the Archaic and the Modern ideas of the East and the West to stimulate the conscious, unconscious, and sub-consciousness.

Selecta’s Emiel and Daksi, came up with this idea just a few weeks ago, and have been busy selecting these irie tunes of our signed label-artists, to give you a glimpse of what is cooking in 2018, and to share some insights and visions. For this release we were inspired by the concept of the “Soundsystem”, an important part of Jamaican culture, which changed and revolutionized the concept of music. This release, features a multipage booklet, fresh tunes, rare remixes and collaborations by our artists.  Suseth Martinez, a visionary artist from Guatemala, has left an indelible impact on the music industry. Since 2014, she has pursued music production with unwavering passion.

In 2015, Suseth achieved a groundbreaking milestone as Guatemala's first female DJ in Hi-tech Psytrance. Performing as Cosmic Spiral, she captivated audiences and became an integral part of the esteemed FEEDBACK PRODUCTION GT Crew.

After three years of dedication, Suseth released her debut track under Voodoo Hoodoo Records in 2017. Signing with O.v.n.i Records, she introduced her innovative live act concept, Athzira, blending psytrance with indigenous music from Central and South America, inspired by Mayan culture.

In 2022, Suseth reached new heights with the collaborative masterpiece "Athzira and the Travellers." This marked the establishment of her record label, Ik-Tek Records, a testament to her visionary spirit and entrepreneurial drive.

Currently, Suseth explores new horizons with the Progressive/Full-on project "Aqua Aura" in collaboration with Hosenfeld. She diligently works on an anticipated EP for release on "Shamanic Tales Records," promising a captivating sonic journey.
