Italian producer Hålbå displays granular textures and dystopian grooves to embody his vision of an uncertain future. Through drone-like rumbles and syncopated kick drums he conveys ideas of chaos despair and distress. Above foggy and intoxicating sonorities, martial and syncopated percussions keep the tracks moving forward.
Raw and industrial sounds immersed in dark ambiances characterize the sound of Hålbå. He intends to transport you in his world and tell you some stories focused on society's decay and its consequent uncertain future.
Chaos, despair, and distress are some of the feelings that the artist tries to convey on his podcast, a result of a depth research of unconventional audio material with huge impact for the listener.

After 5 years in the Shanghai local scene where she was involved as a dj, and live performer, Elise Massoni moved to Berlin to focus entirely on her music production.
She rapidly got noticed for her subtle blend of broken rhythms and delicate electro which landed her a first EP on Man Band records having her material remixed by Forest Drive West on 2 occasions.
   Being one of those wide-ranging selectors unafraid of drastic bpm and genre shifts, masterfully oscillating between fast techno, IDM, acid, and a smattering of ghetto and electro, Elise marked some notable appearances in some of Europe's most renowned clubs & festivals such as Kaiku (Helsinki), Rex Club (Paris), Dimensions and Flow festival.
   Finally relocating to Paris, Elise started her monthly residency on Rinse France in late 2018 and continues to push her sound forward and signed an opening reshape on François X's Irregular Passion reshape album (2019).
In 2020 she composed 2 short pieces to accompany artists' performances (cf. Tout ce qui ne tourne pas tombe - Chevalive Corporation, Espace Niemeyer Paris).

Guido van den Brink, more commonly known as the musician Atiq and headmaster of Mindtrick Records, quickly dwelled in the realms of electronic music after his first encounter with breakbeat music. Coming from a metal background, his love for this ‘new sound’ quickly resulted in establishing himself firmly in a niche of underground music. Through his musical experience, the producer, DJ and record label owner continues to develop his strong sense of futuristic, Epic and cinematic electronic music. 

Inside his studio and behind the decks, the Dutchman tends to fuse the old school with the new school sound in the most profound way – and without fearing to experiment – he achieves unique flavors without forgetting the roots of Dub, jungle and breaks. Atiq loves to experiment with atmospheres that hold a futuristic vision; combining all that’s necessary to give his music and the dance floor the variety it deserves. His covering formula has lead to successful DJ/live sets, solo material and of course the collaborative project with his partner-in-crime Enk.

In 2013 and 2014, Atiq & Enk released the ‘Fear Of The Unknown’ and ‘Embracing The Unknown’ projects together on Tympanik Audio. Many received these as highly successful albums, representing an “inventive debut”, while others labelled it as a “presentation of beat-driven ambient music fares as an incredibly cathartic surprise”. Soon after, Atiq released his solo EP ‘Sonorous’ on the US based Onset Audio. This has all projected his further dedication to full-scale sound design, known for his in-depth automation skills, effects processing and attention to detail.

His self-owned Mindtrick Records, which celebrates its tenth anniversary in 2017, focuses on the more cerebral and complex side of bass music. With having released music from some of the most influential artists such as Mobthrow, Semiomime (DJ Hidden), Delete and kick started Tangent’s career, Atiq has gained recognition for creating/curating exceptional forward-thinking ethereal music, managing the now acclaimed artists and running his widely known record label.
Knowing it all started for him with event promotion and organizing events in the harbor city of Rotterdam, nowadays you’ll easily find Atiq’s alias all over the bass music spectrum and in and outside of the Netherlands. His search for unheard vibrations continues and simply drives his musical development into new avenues. Make sure to keep your eyes peeled for further progression in sound!
