Wars and rumors of conflict have turned many regions of the world into sad places. Terrorist groups’ actions are becoming increasingly cruel, claiming human lives. I created a handful of songs about wanting to see the violence end, even though I know it’s wishful thinking that will never come true.

With cultural, religious, and racial diversity, we require unity that embraces all differences in harmony.

A special song dedicated to the archipelago in the Southeast Maluku Regency Known as the Kei Islands.

in early October 2016, the head of the Regency, Mr. Anderias Rentanubun, asked Andy Atis to write a song describing one's feeling about Kei as his or her homeland. Inspired by the live and musicianship of Martin Ohoiner who is been living in Hawaii, USA.

The song is written and composed by Andy Eric Manuhutu or known as Andy Atis.

Most Christmas songs portraying winter weather condition; Western atmosphere.  Most of the concept of the lyrics are about snow falling, reindeers, Santa, elf, presence under the Christmas tree, and so on. Atis wanting to compose Christmas songs that portraying summer season in December, like the Christmas weather in Australia, the pacific Islands or Southeast Asia.

Andy Atis (Andy Eric Manuhutu) spent his childhood in Los Angeles, California, USA. Although his major at Azusa Pacific University (APU) in Azusa, California, was Science and Math, with a bit of Aerospace Engineering at Northrop University, he also won a scholarship for a minor in music at APU.

His love of music is undeniable, and it grew even stronger when he was admitted into Micahel's music camp by Michael Sembello. Andy mastered a variety of music skills at the camp, including but not limited to songwriting, music composition, music arrangements, and productions. Michael and several other vocal teachers, including John Deaver, Janice Macy, Elizabeth Sabine, and Chip Hand, taught him the science of vocal technique known as Speech Level Singing (SLS). Andy received complete financial assistance from his schoolmates, Cokky Silitonga, Bambang Bernanthos, Denny Rinaldi, and Rizal Risjad, during his four years at the Sembello camp. All are Indonesian diasporas residing in Los Angeles at the time.

Sophie Hukom, a single mother who grew up in Purwokerto and Magelang, Central Java, raised him. Atis was born in Makassar, the capital city of South Sulawesi Province, a city he adores.

Beginning in his senior year of high school, his mother sent him to live with relatives in the United States, the Aponno family. In the city of Arcadia, California, USA, he enrolled in a private school, Maranatha High School. He then remained in Arcadia and grew up there before moving to several Los Angeles suburbs.
