I don't release music often (it's been nearly 2 years since my Warbler EP!) so I'm feeling quite a bit of excitement and relief right now. 
This EP came together deep in the isolation of 2020. I had been working on some tunes off on my own and I sent dear Julien a whatsapp message with a playlist of what I'd been cooking. He felt inspired by the parts, and within a few weeks, we found ourselves with 3 originals perfect for his new Satya imprint. 

Also happy to have landed a remix from SEPP to round out this package. Absolute stormer of a groover which I think will move some dance floors.

It's been a a real pleasure to collaborate with YokoO, and both as a friend and fellow artist, I'm glad we've been able to cross paths in this way. Hope you enjoy the music.

Desert In Me (DIM), the cycle of electronic music events from Argentina, ends this 2021 publishing a double album, through a compilation of emerging & established national artists at a national and international level. 

Maintaining an organic, melodic and progressive style; DAY & NIGHT is the musical expression that characterizes Desert In Me (DIM), both for events and for their musical projects. 

Some of the artists that are part of this compilation are Maxi Degrassi, Nacho Varela & Cruz Vittor, Folgar, Nebula (AR), Dejolee, among others. 

The release will be on December 21 by Bandcamp.

Following releases from Huerta, Mandar and Makcim & Levi last year, Oscillat kicks off 2019 with an assured, brooding club 12" from long-serving producer Matthew Dekay. 
Since surfacing in 2001, Dutch producer Dekay has put out a formidable body of work under a variety of aliases and in collaboration with producers including Lee Burridge and Maher Daniel. His sultry tech house approach has graced labels as highly regarded as Innervisions, Cecille, Aras and Maeve, and now he comes to Oscillat with "Spellbound," a track that finds him diving deeper than ever before into hypnotic, swinging rhythms loaded with atmosphere and longing. 
On the B side, Oscillat bosses Mandar (Lazare Hoche, Malin Genie and Samuel Andre Madsen) take Dekay's original and inject it with an infectious peak time energy, creating a straight-up, acid-flecked workout that sits in neat contrast with the immersive shuffle of the original.

The twelfth batch of fruits from our fruit orchard have been picked, and are ready to taste.

The deep melodic sounds of French producer Quatri have a depth and uniqueness that is hard to quantify or draw comparisons against. His detailed and emotive production style, which made its foundations at imprints like Oleeva Records and Nie Wieder Schlafen, is quickly turning underground heads.

The title track "Vendet" sits firmly in Quatri's signature style. Surrounded by a crisp drum rack, atmospheres weave in and out, through flutes and influences from the World. "Who Are You" is a lot more clubbier of the two. With brass Parisian elements and a hefty kick, the track will pick up the flow in a set in no time.

The EP is closed off by two remixes from two exciting producers in the scene; Joe Miller and Padre.

Padre's Ceremonial Mix strips everything back, and lets the track breathe. Created in mind for DJs who want to add their own drum beat, the harnessed darkness of Padre's Ceremonial Mix is a testament to his carefully selected taste and producing style.

From the kindest Australian on the planet, Joe Miller's remix carefully respects the original, while refocusing & stripping down elements to take you into a calmer state. Signed to labels like All Day I Dream, Traum + more, and support from Lane 8 and Robert Babicz, Joe Miller is one to look out for.

Atish plays from the soul with a smile on his face. His charm flows as freely as his grooves, and his infectious personality is poured into every performance. The links he makes are not just musical but personal, too, as he communicates the highs and lows of life through his sounds. As an unmistakably warm person, he has quickly built up a dedicated fan base that feeds off his passion and energy. The Atish experience is about more than just dancing - it's about connection.

There is an intimacy and elegance to the music Atish plays whether it's deep house, Romanian minimal, artful techno, or emotive progressive house. Melody unites it all - whimsical keys and curious synth patterns that stir a wide range of emotions and get lodged deep in the memory. For Atish, the challenge is to lead an audience into unexpected new worlds: they won't know how they got there but will be delighted when they arrive. It's a subtle skill he has mastered
while never taking himself too seriously.

His own productions have come on cultured labels like Anjunadeep, Satya, and Stil Vor Talent. The Manjumasi Music label he co-founded with Mark Slee in 2016 deals in house with real heart and musicality. The aim is simply to work with artists whose music they admire; to give a leg up to those who deserve it, then watch them grow, whether with his label or elsewhere.

He is similarly open-minded and candid on social media and recently wrote some software to analyze a year's worth of playlists before discussing the results. He's also keen to demystify the often shadowy and secretive world of DJing and production and open it up to all, which is why he started his own unique party series, Late Night Tonite. Each event started with a sit-down interview with the guest and a conversation about the creative arts before the dancing began.
That now dormant concept led Atish to start his own mentorship program during the Covid lockdowns. He continues it to this day, with students enjoying one-on-one coaching, feedback, and advice sessions in which he shares what he has learned about all aspects of the industry.

In truth, this career chose him rather than the other way around: as a long-time and obsessive music collector, he was happy enough to play on the side around his software engineering day job. But he was making such a mark on the parties he played that word got out and the bookings kept on coming. He decided to throw himself into music rather than live to regret the missed opportunity and hasn't looked back since.

Atish has forged his own path and proven that DJs need not hide behind the music. Instead, Atish is right there to share the moments with you.
