Brazilian Diogo Strausz returns to Razor-N-Tape with Gravity, a disco-boogie opus featuring the inimitable voice of Brandon Markell Holmes. A meticulously produced work of live-recorded soulful funk, Gravity channels the intricate arrangement style of 80s Brazilian producer Lincoln Olivetti, with punchy drums and bass, a tight and agile brass section, and tasty guitar and synth interplay. Brandon’s voice floats above it all, equally gritty and atmospheric, to deliver the relentlessly catchy hook that launches the song straight into orbit!

Hailing from Guadalajara, Mexico, Hotmood is a DJ and producer with a vivid passion for grooves has been quietly shaping the landscape of disco-inflected electronic music. Notably, his Disco Flava EP brought together originals like “Brazilian Groove” and remixes by artists like Felipe Gordon.

Touring and DJing around Mexico, USA, Canada, Europe, Asia, he has earned the respect of audiences for his ability to read the crowd while maintaining his signature sound. Hotmood continues to push disco and funk influences forward into electronic music without losing heart. Two.in.Deep is a long-distance collaboration between me and French DJ, @deeparnog, which we started in 2020, during lockdown, born out of a mutual appreciation for each other’s love of deep house music. This is our sixth volume now, our little annual back2back session and I'm delighted to share it with you again, in time for Christmas.

This year, we play four tracks each, twice ... Arno starts and I complete the mix (with five tracks, actually). As always, we really do hope you enjoy our selection.

And just like that, we are into a new year ... and this week, I am absolutely thrilled to welcome @seanmccabe to the Sunday Supplement Guest Mix series ...♥️

Bristol-based producer and DJ Sean McCabe, has been crafting an effortlessly soulful house sound since first releasing music in 2003. He built his reputation through a long-standing relationship with legendary US garage label King Street Sounds, alongside remix work for artists including Dennis Ferrer, Blaze, Evelyn “Champagne” King, Carolyn Harding and Roland Clark.

His extensive catalogue spans respected labels such as Z Records, Strictly Rhythm, Local Talk, Vega Records, Tribe and Quantize,and reflects a rich, emotion-led aesthetic rooted in house, with influences of disco, boogie, Afro rhythms and classic ’90s garage-house.

Sean’s 2014 debut album 'It’s Time' on Z Records showcased his musical depth and versatility, hitting No.1 on Traxsource in its first week and receiving support from Solar Radio, Mi-Soul, Kiss FM and Jazz FM. As a DJ, he is widely respected for his regular appearances at Southport Weekender and for his preference for intimate dancefloors, where connection and feeling take centre stage.

Continuing to evolve as a producer, Sean draws inspiration from vintage synthesizers and classic New York boogie and ’80s soul. In 2016, he launched his own imprint, Good Vibrations Music, further cementing his reputation for delivering high-quality, soulful dance music with heart and longevity.
