We are approaching February as well as our first release of the year, the HAR Catalogue. Today we have a new Austrian-Hungarian DJ, Lucia Suerte.

Lucia Suerte is a Hungarian DJ, based in Leoben, Austria. 
Started her DJ School in 2019 (DJ Sound Austria, Vienna).
Since 2020, part of the Katerfrühstück. DJ Collective. 
In 2022 she started to organizing Underground Techno and Old-school Hip Hop Parties in Austria and Hungary.

My wonderful friends from the Berlin band Ice Dream Social asked me to remix their stand-out single 'Fire' a while back, an offer that I was extremely grateful for and to which I emphatically said yes!

Composing the remix was quite a process, though. It's the first official remix that I've ever done and trying to navigate that process was at times a great experience, but also at times hung me out to dry emotionally - which I hadn't seen coming. It exposed my tendency towards self-doubt and struggling to connect with a project when I'm daunted by what I perceive to be expectations riding on it.

After a couple of dead-ends and some great constructive conversations with the band, I finally hit my stride, and with Conor at Glowcast giving me some mix guidance and doing his usual magic at the mastering stage I can present to you a remix I'm proud of :)
