Mexican label Duro welcomes Esprit Divers, the new alias of Coyu, the celebrated Catalan DJ and founder of Suara. After being published on Kompakt's Speicher X series with 'Turbulentos', the Catalan DJ returns with ‘Neophobia’, a two original EP with a tremendous remix from English producer Third Son.

“Eclecticism and diversity is something that has followed me since I started to get interest on music. This is why I have decided to split my projects and create Esprit Divers, who will be in continuous motion seeking for different sounds, based on the idea of music of contrast: light and dark, sorrow and hope, mind and soul.” Esprit Divers

The extraordinary opener is "Slow Retrogress", a cut with solid drums like an iron horse, magnetic rolling bass, an edged melody, and hallucinating vocals. The moment where the train derails and plummets down the tunnel. "Neophobia" might sound like a classic tech house groove, but as it goes along it twists and turns out of reality in a deep and mind-blowing way. The drums and bass create the never-ending mental loop, until the spell is broken by the horns of veracity accompanying the lead vocal, only to be suddenly dumped again to the loophole.

Last of all is the remix from Polymath’s Third Son, a more upbeat and playful cut. The glitchy and erroneous percussions slowly introduce you to then be greeted by a neat and cool synthesizer. Creating a majestic, heterogeneous and open atmosphere.

Q&A are Alexis Georgopoulos (Arp, The Alps, Tussle) and Quinn Luke
(Coppa, Bing Ji Ling, The Phenomenal Hand Clap Band, Paqua). The two were introduced by Chris Veltri, owner of legendary record shop Groove Merchants in San Francisco. 

Veltri and Luke had made a pair of plunderphonic Disco 12-inches under the name Coppa. Georgopoulos was a founder of the group Tussle and asked if Coppa would do a Tussle remix. This led to Luke acting as producer on the Tussle album Telescope Mind for Smalltown Supersound. 

The first results of this collaboration were “Trap Door” and “Tumbling Cubes;” detroit-inspired electro/cavernous dirty disco. The original 12 inch vinyl pressing of these two songs 2009 single came out on DFA.

Through the years, the group has gained an esteemed shortlist of
admirers, among them Todd Terje, Idjut Boys, Sal Principato (LIQUID
LIQUID), and Bill Brewster (DJ and author of leftfield disco classic Last
Night A DJ Saved My Life). In the Fall of 2020, the duo released another
couple of tunes on Leng Records. 

With this digital re-release, Q&A present a brand new track entitled “ESP.” The track again features Patrick Wood on drums, and brings a tasty organic, acid jam to the dance floor.

Colombia's forthcoming duo Ten Systems debut their first Radikon full length EP for a late autumn celebration of the everlasting sunshine state. Here comes ‚California'! Noisy straightforward beats plant the seeds for the emerging warmth of Angus Powell's voice, which slowly surfaces through masterfully cut vocal snippets. Atmospheric melancholia sets the tone for this release's centerpiece.

Remix duty is taken personal this time. None other than labelheads Jonas Saalbach and Guzy offer their collaborative reconstruction of ‚California', spiced up with some grains of BPM, pumping synths lines and hypnotic melody patterns, culminating into a proper main stage peak time drop.

‚Essence', a jointventure with LORRAINNE, closes the melodic techno triarchy with a pressuring groove, while still leaving space for oases of heavily breathing synthesizers. Techy Snares and Hi Hat placements offer an unescapable dance indulging substructure.

Following the pop-meets-R&B flavours of previous single “Don’t Forget to Breathe”, the next track to be taken from Trikk’s debut album Fauna & Flora is one for the techno heads. Reasserting his club credentials, the Portuguese producer returns to the dancefloor for a slimline yet uncompromising take on techno that nods to the LP’s green-fingered theme. “Regado” (which means “to water”) spreads itself out across three minutes, snowballs with intensity, and is as cool and dramatic as a winter’s night. Who’s ready for 2023?

A new season starts for Labo T, and for this occasion, we are happy to welcome back our friend Ceas for a two track release. 'Dont Know' is a double sided track; two themes with different melodies are fused together by an infectiously catchy vocal. 'Too Young' leans on the darker end of the spectrum, whilst still incorporating the feeling of Ceas. The main melody is an anthem, leading the track to the big stages.
